Female Guitar Shredder Tara Lynch To Release New Single “Trustless” Feat. Members of Dream Theater, Yngwie Malmsteen, Whitesnake and Alice Cooper!

Los Angeles - Tara Lynch is an American guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Tara will be releasing her new single “Trustless” from her forthcoming debut album “Evil Enough” on Friday, February 10, 2017. “Evil Enough” is a melodic metal album full of rich guitar dominant tracks, all written by Tara Lynch.  Along with Tara on all lead/rhythm guitars, this album features an all-star lineup of high-profile guest musicians including Tony MacAlpine and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, KISS, Alice Cooper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Billy Idol) on keyboards, Björn Englen (Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Quiet Riot, Soul Sign, Dio Disciples) and Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Last In Line) on bass, Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne) and Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper) on drums and the virtuoso vocals of Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, Dokken, Dio Disciples, Raiding the Rock Vault).

Says Tara, “Both the concept and meaning behind 'Trustless' are autobiographical. I've been through life's toughest moments and have come out on the other side much stronger for it. I've decided to tell my story both for therapeutic reasons and also in hopes that it can relate to and offer support to others in the same situation.

“The entire 'Evil Enough' album is a musical autobiography. Very often, the term 'blood, sweat and tears' is used as a metaphor to describe the work one puts in to something that they are 110% invested in. This would be an accurate metaphor where I am concerned. It has been a tremendously emotional journey into my own soul in order to both write the lyrics that explain my experiences, as well as write the melodies to convey the feelings involved within each experience.”

“Tara Lynch has a beautiful natural vibrato that I have only heard in the very top guitar players” - Derek Sherinian

Primarily self-taught, Tara played both electric and acoustic guitar and wrote songs in her childhood, picking up the bass guitar, drums and piano along the way. Very serious about her musicianship and the unending desire to improve, Tara has personally studied guitar with Steve Vai (Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Whitesnake, Alcatrazz), drums with Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), bass with Björn Englen (Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Quiet Riot, Soul Sign, Dio Disciples) and piano with Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, KISS, Alice Cooper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Billy Idol).

In 2015, Tara accepted the invitation from Geert Fiew (founder of Belgian band Beyond the Labyrinth) to write and perform guitar solos on Beyond the Labyrinth's upcoming fourth album, “The Art of Resilience”, to be released in early 2017.  At the same time, Tara began writing for her own upcoming debut album, “Evil Enough”.

“Tara is just a pure pleasure and honor to work with. She knows what she wants but yet so humble and grateful. And what a talent! And did I mention sweetheart?” – Björn Englen

Featured performers on Tara Lynch’s “EVIL ENOUGH”:
Mark Boals (vocals)
Björn Englen (bass)
Tony MacAlpine (keyboards)
Derek Sherinian (keyboards)
Glen Sobel (drums)
Phil Soussan (bass)
Brian Tichy (drums)

On “Evil Enough”, all songs are written by Tara Lynch, who performs all lead and rhythm guitars, and on some tracks, bass guitar.

“After knowing her as a friend for many years, I knew it would be fun, but working with Tara is like holding a Tiger by the tail, she is so full of talent and energy, knows exactly what she wants and is not afraid to go for it! It was a really great experience!” - Mark Boals

In closing Tara has this to impart, “This album has been a labor of love and an important part of both my personal and musical growth process. At the end of the day, it's an album that I am extremely proud of and I really hope it touches people out there in the world who can relate to it and that it can help them know they're not alone.”

Along with the release of “Evil Enough” in 2017, Tara Lynch plans to tour. “Let's rock!” - Tara Lynch

1960's Irish Pop Singer Jackie Lee aka “Jacky” Releases New Compilation Feat. Hit Single “White Horses”

1960's Irish pop singer Jackie Lee aka “Jacky”, best known for her hit song “White Horses”, has released new compilation of the same name on Gonzo MultiMedia UK.

“I never dreamt in my wildest dreams that when I was asked by Ben Nisbett and Michael Carr if I would like to sing a little song they had written for hopefully a new TV series about White Horses that it would become so popular. I of course said I would be delighted to do so. I then went to Ben's office in Tin Pan Ally (Denmark Street, London) as it was known and heard the song and saw the lyrics for the first time. I must say I fell in love with it. We then set the key for the arranger and a week or so later I was in the rather small studio to put my voice to the arrangement that had already been recorded. It was then I decided to make something of this sweet little song. As there were about two tracks left, I used them to double track my voice and put in the harmonies which I knew would work well for the song. Lucky for all of us it was accepted for the TV series and voila, a little gem was born.

“I am quite astounded that my recording of the White Horses theme song is still remembered so fondly and played on the radio so regularly. So many people have written to me personally to recall all the happy memories they remember as children about the series and my recording. After so many enquiries I am delighted that this album has been released with the White Horses recording and tracks from my White Horses LP along with some other favourites of mine.

“It includes one track that has never been released before which was part of an album that I created with Christopher Gunning called Calendar which was very dear to my heart. The Busker was about April showers, the album was never released and to date and The Busker is the only track known to have survived.

“I have also chosen several recordings I made as part of the Raindrops,  a vocal quartet with my ex Husband Len Beadle, Vince Hill and Johnny Worth.  They all went on to make their own individual contributions to popular music.” - Jackie Lee

Tracks:
White Horses (Stereo)
I can Sing a Rainbow
Things I don't mean
Well, that's loving you
We're Off and Running
I think I like you
Scarlet Ribbons
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Out of sight, out of mind
Too Many Chiefs and not enough Indians
I Cry Alone
The Busker
Will You Love Me Tomorrow
There goes the lucky one
Here I go again
Down our Street
The Locomotion
The End of the World

Jackie Lee is an Irish popular music singer, who has recorded under various names. Lee was a musical child prodigy who became a vocalist with the top show bands playing prestigious Irish venues. She had similar success when she moved to London and joined the popular dance band; The Squadronaires. In 1955 her first solo record was released, followed by two more the next year. From 1959 to 1964, Lee was a member of The Raindrops, a successful quartet who made countless appearances on British TV and variety shows, had a BBC Radio show and released a string of records, the majority of which had Lee as lead vocalist.

Lee went solo in 1965 and recorded albums until 1967. Lee was also a respected session singer, through her groups The Jackie Lee Singers and Tears of Joy. She provided the backing vocals for such worldwide hits as “Green Green Grass of Home” by Tom Jones and “Release Me” by Englebert Humperdink. She was also featured on such diverse recordings as “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix; and much of the James Last catalogue at the time. At one point Elton John was hired by Lee as a member of her session singers. In addition she also sang various songs for film soundtracks.

In 1968, going under the name “Jacky”, she had a UK Top Ten hit single with “White Horses”, the theme from a children's TV program. Her album of the same name was also released in 1968, which also featured Dudley Moore on piano. By 1970, “Jacky” reverted to “Jackie Lee” and had another hit record “Rupert”, from the TV show based on the famous cartoon character, Rupert Bear. “Jackie's Junior Choice”, was released on Pye Records in 1971, followed by “Rupert and Other Junior Favourites” in 1973. It was shortly after this she retired, yet remained a respected vocalist!

Blind Chart Topping Producer Joey Stuckey Releases All-Female Southern Artist Compilation

Macon, GA - Blind producer Joey Stuckey, the official Music Ambassador for his hometown of Macon, Georgia—a true music city—has released an all-female musical compilation, “Joey Stuckey Presents Ladies of the South”, that encompasses twelve incredible artists that he has produced over the past 6 years.

Stuckey's roster of musical legends with whom he has worked includes Alan Parsons, Chuck Leavell, Jimmy Hall, The B-52s, Mike Mills (REM), Trisha Yearwood, Hughie Thomasson (Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws), and many others.

The decision to release this compilation was made after Stuckey's co-writing the album's feature song “What You See Ain’t What You Get” with Charlie Hoskyns (The Popes), Will Morrison (Modern English), and Paul McGuinness (The Pogues). Says Stuckey, “We wrote this amazing song about incredibly strong women and loved it so much that we had to record it. We chose long-time friend and Georgia treasure Sue Wilkinson (aka Sue Lu) to perform the lead vocals on this track. We needed the attitude of Janis Joplin and the vocal chops to go with it and Sue was the perfect woman to bring the song to life. After 'What You See Ain't What You Get' was completed, I realized that I knew and had worked with so many amazing female artists across all genres that it was time to share that talent and 'Joey Stuckey Presents Ladies of the South' was born.”

Whether you are a fan of rock, pop, singer/songwriter, country, or contemporary Christian, this compilation has it all!

The artists and songs included in this southern exposé are:

  1. The Shadow Bandits featuring Sue Lu “What You See Ain't What You Get”

The Harpist With The Angelic Voice, ERIN HILL, Releases A Full Length Album Of Unique Cover Versions!

Los Angeles, CA - You may not know her by name, but it’s highly likely that you’ve seen the enormously talented musician/actor Erin Hill on TV or on stage. A masterful harpist with a golden singing voice, Hill has performed as back-up to such major artists as Kanye West, Enya, moby, Cyndi Lauper, ‘80s new wave icons A-ha, Randy Newman, Sinead O’Connor, Jewel, and many others. In addition, Hill has appeared on several TV shows such as Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing and Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show appearing in the infamous skit as the “Pretty White Girl” who sings Dave’s darkest, most private thoughts, PLUS the Tim Robbins film Cradle Will Rock, HBO’s The Chris Rock Show, and PBS’s American Masters.

Now this exciting artist has released Harp Town, a full-length album of pop music classics from every era, uniquely arranged for harp and voice, and recorded with intimacy and delicacy by producer Mike Nolan. The album, whose title is a nod to Steve Earle’s 1986 debut album Guitar Town, includes gorgeous and haunting versions of Tim Buckley’s “Song To The Siren,” Smashing Pumpkins’ “Disarm,” Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work,” Adele’s “Someone Like You,” Rihanna’s “Stay,” and Radiohead’s “Black Star” as well as such all-time classics as “La Vie En Rose,” “Eleanor Rigby,” “Come Fly With Me,” “Habanera” and many more. Each song features Hill’s extraordinary harp playing and her own distinctive interpretations. “This has been such a big, exciting project for me,” Hill enthuses, “I do a lot of different styles of music, and I write as well, but one of the things I’m most proud of is what I do with my harp and voice covers of pop and rock songs. I started playing the harp when I was 8 years old, and right from the start, I was playing and singing songs that I’d hear and fall in love with. I’m just such a music fan, and I go nuts for some of these songs and artists, so what a joy to get to spend a year working on arranging and playing and singing these songs.” With Harp Town, music fans everywhere will have the opportunity to experience these classic songs as they’ve never heard them before! Available on all digital music retailers from Cleopatra Records.

A ‘One Woman’ Show - Radclyffe Hall To Premiere New Video “Rather Be” On Post-Punk.com

Los Angeles, CA – The Bostonian indie/dance/electronic/funk/pop group Radclyffe Hall was selected as Band Of The Day on the music & culture website post-punk.com and will be premiering a new video for the song "Rather Be" on the site. "Rather Be" is the second single from Radclyffe Hall’s groundbreaking new album, Ghosts, available now at all digital retailers from Cleopatra Records.

"Rather Be" stars the group’s founder and front-woman, Dhy Berry, and begins with the entrance of two identically, professionally dressed versions of herself. As the two unenthusiastically take a seat at the judge’s table, a five-piece band of suspiciously similar looking women begin to play the unforgettable groove of “Rather Be.” Over the course of the performance toes begin to tap and the judges’ expressions shift from apathetic to inspired. At the close of the tune, with a fitting response from the judges, we see Dhy’s journey of self-actualization completed.

Or view it on Dailymotion and subscribe to our channel: http://www.dailymotion.com/CleopatraRecords

Radclyffe Hall began in Boston as an experiment in analog and digital production. Steeped in rock, funk, and R&B, Dhy Berry started developing groove-heavy demos before developing them into fully fledged pop songs. Turning fear into agency and loss into catharsis, RH makes glo-fi anthems for the bedroom and the dance floor alike. This energy can be heard throughout the new album, Ghosts, as Berry wrote many of the songs while working toward a graduate degree. No surpise then that Berry chose to name the group after a highly influential English poet in lesbian literature. This tumultuous time in Berry’s life resulted in a rich body of work that can be heard on both “Rather Be” and Ghosts.

NEW RELEASE...Maria Muldaur's Acclaimed Debut Album on 200g Vinyl

One of those classic debut albums every singer wants...an absolutely wonderful record from beginning to end...includes the hit "Midnight at the Oasis"

Hollywood, CA - Exhibit Records will release Maria Muldaur's critically acclaimed first solo recording on 200g vinyl. Muldaur's compelling debut features savvy studio vets, talented guests, strong tunes and Muldaur's best-known single "Midnight at the Oasis," a flirty invitation to forbidden pleasure, set in an Arabian Nights desert that falls somewhere between jazz and pop. A well-known music critic declared that "Midnight at the Oasis was probably responsible for the conception of more children than any other song of the 1970's."

The recording appeared in 1973, during a moment of great openness in popular music. Her album became an FM staple, she found just the right balance between her commitment to the traditional material she favors and her ability to interpret it in her own quirky and original recognizable singing style. There's not a weak song, a weak arrangement, or a weak performance anywhere on it. This album has elements of rock, pop, blues, folk, country, bluegrass and even vaudeville and somehow, all the disparate elements blend well to make for a cohesive, remarkably unified album impossible to classify as a whole.

Among the musicians and vocalists appearing on the recordings are Dr. John, Ry Cooder, Andrew Gold, David Grisman, Chris Ethridge, Ray Brown, Richard Greene, Dave Holland, David Lindley, Bettye LaVette, Bill Keith of Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys, solo-Beatles drummer Jim Keltner, solo-Beatles bassist Klaus Voorman, and jazz-guitarist Amos Garrett. But the album's greatest moments belong to Maria alone - her vocal gifts defy expression. After a decade of work this debut recording revealed her art as mature, sophisticated, sensual and wise. The songs and performances are sweet, poignant, salacious, intelligent and attractive. The high point may well be Wendy Waldman's "Mad Mad Me," which closes the album with the most hauntingly gorgeous two minutes and fifty-three seconds ever recorded.

The new 200 gram vinyl record is beautifully presented in a sturdy old style tip-on gatefold jacket featuring the original album art work. The popular recording joins an expanding list of high quality vinyl releases being made available from the emergent Exhibit Records. The Hollywood company has rapidly curated an eclectic catalog of classic recordings and is gaining notice for their exquisite mastering, high quality pressings and detail to the fine art of exceptional package design.

Maria Muldaur is simply one of the great singers of all times. She could sing anything and make you love it. For those with eclectic tastes, this is a masterpiece. At the time of its original release Rolling Stone magazine called the record "One of the half-dozen best albums of 1973." What Maria Muldaur did back then and is still doing, is recording excellent and eclectic albums, covering different music genres and displaying formidable musical knowledge - there's a huge love for music in this supremely talented artist.

Pianist and Composer Heidi Breyer Releases A Breathtaking New Album “Letters From Far Away” Featuring Legendary Will Ackerman

“The music is at once technically breathtaking and emotionally intimate. A rare and wonderful combination.” - Will Ackerman

Frenchtown, NJ - Pianist and composer Heidi Breyer has released a breathtaking new album of unparalleled beauty titled “Letters From Far Away.” The new release is a double solo and piano instrumental album and Heidi’s debut production alongside legendary Will Ackerman (Founder Windham Hill Records) and Tom Eaton. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Imaginary Road Studios in Vermont and Studio Sound in LA.

Says Heidi, “ 'Letters From Far Away' is my musical interpretation of a handful of experiences in the story of one couple, each from different countries, who met in 1960 and after 5 years apart, against all odds, walked the rest of their lives together. It is also about love in all it's forms, how love is the common denominator that transcends time and links the generations over the course of decades. It is the one thing that connects us all.”

Winner of ZMR Best Instrumental piano Album 2012, Nominated ZMR Best Holiday Album 2011, Winner of ZMR Best Instrumental Piano Album 2010 and Best New Artist 2010, Heidi Breyer has four albums to her credit – Winter Light 2009, Another Place and Time 2010, Beyond The Turning 2012, Letters From Far Away 2015. She has performed on stages worldwide and opened the first ever live ZMR Awards show performing with Premik Russell-Tubbs (Sting), Jill Haley and Michael Ronstadt. Her music has been featured on many compilations including the Grammy Nominated Album for Best Spoken Word, “The Storm King” an Auto Biographical Narration by the late Pete Seeger, Produced by Jeff Haynes, also The Gathering (West River Records), Many Miles Music (Seattle based label) and Sounds of The Circle by Suzanne Doucet. British born and conservatory educated at Trinity College of Music in London, Heidi Breyer now resides in the artistic community of Frenchtown, NJ, an inspiring setting where she composes her music, prepares for her multi-media concerts, teaches and manages the business of world-renowned Russian painter, Alexander Volkov.

“Heidi Breyer continues to amaze with her evolution as a composer and as a performer. The range of styles represented in Letters From Far Away is considerable, but like the outer planets in our solar system, these are held together by the gravity and persuasion of Breyer's Artistic Voice.” - Will Ackerman, Grammy winning Guitarist, Producer, Imaginary Road Studios and founder of Windham Hill Records.

And now, in 2015, Heidi has released her most stunning achievement to date, the new album “Letters From Far Away”! Says Heidi, “I wrote the entire collection with the intention of releasing my first piano solo project. But in the very first session the opportunity for some major counter-melody from other specific instruments was revealing itself to me. The main instrumental voices that I was imagining were cello, violin, guitar and English Horn, mostly because I have worked with these sounds before and have an understanding of their capacity for expression within my music. Clarinet was non-negotiable on Small Cafe. Every time I hear that instrument it propels me back in time and for that piece as with all others, it was the only option. Then saxophone, french horn and bass guitar...all came very naturally...

“Will Ackerman has amazing perceptual awareness. He has mentored me for several years now, both in regard to my music and helping me to further discover and push my own development as an artist. He knows when to step back and when to guide. As this project progressed he was clearly observing my need for specifics...not just instrumentally but also melodically, harmonically and rhythmically and yet he also knew when to bring forth his knowledge and experience for the better. Along with Tom Eaton's own depth of production experience, I think we made a pretty good team! All the session players I work with are in their own right top-shelf artists. Many of them are on all of my albums. They really listened, understood and interpreted accurately and delivered, in my opinion, flawlessly. The list of players I worked with (and hope to again) include but are not limited to Eugene Friesen, Jill Haley, Charlie Bisharat, Gus Sebring, Mark Schulman, Will Ackerman.”

Here's what's being said about Heidi Breyer's “Letters From Far Away”:

“ 'Letters From Far Away' is a love story that began more than five decades ago across the briny Atlantic. For the world, it was a time of new beginnings. For the lovers it was the birth of something so inexplicable that neither poets with their rhymes, nor philosophers with their thoughts could define it. Until now. It would take extraordinary music to explain it. Enter pianist Heidi Breyer. She takes on the monumental task of telling a story that does not appear in known fairytales, but in the chronicles of the heart. Using her incredible composition skills, she offers not one, but two eleven-track disks of solo piano and its companion instrumental pieces. She takes on the role of bard, storyteller, musician, and singer – a modern day Scheherazade. The contemporary music is twenty-two glimpses into the history of lovers that came from two different worlds and whose devotion was strong enough and endured long enough to build a single world of love. Let us meet the lovers.” - RJ Lannen, Zone Music Reporter

“A new release by Heidi Breyer is always worth waiting for, but this time she has out done herself and her deeply meaningful creation of Letters from far Away, will be regarded by her fans and the followers of piano based music, as real raising of the musical bar, her many listeners, of which I urge you to be one of, will be deeply moved for an eternity by this incredible release.” - Steve Sheppard, OWMR

“Heidi Breyer's 'Letters From Far Away' is an amazing collection of lovely piano based music. I particularly loved the idea of having a double CD set- One with Solo Piano versions and the other with subtle arrangements. Being a musician I could see the tremendous amount of attention to detail that has gone into the writing and performance. As a pure listener, I loved the option to chose which CD to listen to based on my mood. Overall a fantastic musical experience and I wish Heidi all the best for this wonderful work.” - Ricky Kej, Grammy Winner Producer, 2015 of New Age Album of the year, (Winds of Samsara)

“Heidi has provided us with a treasure trove of beautiful recorded music, as well as an upcoming fifth CD to look forward to. Heidi Breyer is a truly remarkable instrumentalist and composer whose expressive and melodic range is impressive, as is her emotionally evocative touch on the keyboard. Letters From Far Away is musical storytelling at its best and illuminates the talents of a rising star in the piano world. - Michael Diamond, Music and Media Focus.”

“Heidi's music is the perfect synthesis of academia and passion. This is music informed by years of study and a rich life. The music is at once technically breathtaking and emotionally intimate. A rare and wonderful combination.” - Will Ackerman

In closing Heidi has this to impart, “Music is an elixir for life, love, catharsism and general well being. Always has been and always will be... My music is written to nourish and combat the impact of today's crazy, restless world, but it is not music for meditation relaxation...I do not strive to help empty the mind through musical meditation. There is a lot of great New Age Music that already does this successfully. I present an alternative perspective, deliver a brief but thoughtful departure to another life imagined through the music, and bring the listener back through the same escape route to reality, feeling a refreshed and grounded in their real lives. I believe the New Age music genre is breaking through to a new era at the very moment it is needed. We know that certain types of music are a part of most peoples daily balancing act. But in addition, we are observing that our human psyche is evolving and we are using our core (our soul, our intuition) to guide us more and more and not just our 5 known senses (that tell us the immediate things)...I believe our instinctive leaning toward New Age music contributes to that 'beacon'. It is music for our lifestyles. It is one of the facets of the balancing act that we will become more and more reliant upon, almost medicinally. I for one, know that I am someone who can help in that regard. So the message is...check out New Age Music. Check out all of my music and see how it can truly help you.”

Legendary Narada Michael Walden Produces Third Release by Lauded Bay Area Songstress Jordan Hurwitz Titled “Here I’ll Stand” on Tarpan Records

Redwood City, CA - Jordan Hurwitz, an American singer/songwriter born and raised in Redwood City, California, is announcing the release of her new EP, Here I’ll Stand, digitally and physically worldwide on June 23rd, 2015. This brand new release features six original songs written by Jordan and produced and arranged by the legendary Narada Michael Walden on his label, Tarpan Records.

Here I’ll Stand is Jordan’s third release, and her first with Narada. “Working with Narada is an incomparable and invaluable experience,” she says. “His talent and artistry take my music to a whole new dimension and continue to be nothing less than amazing.”

When asked about working with Jordan, Narada says: “If you love Billy Joel, his chord changes and his melodies, if you love Broadway, if you love Lady Gaga and her dramatic sense of theatrics in music, Jordan brings a lot of that to her music. She is a wonderful keyboard player and singer, who is humble and has a lot of heart and care, and she is very powerful…”

Jordan released her first album of original songs, Infinity, at age 16, and hasn't stopped writing or performing since. Her songs are an outlet that speaks to the challenges people face in their everyday lives, providing an opportunity to empower everyone to rise above.

Jordan uses her lyrics as a way to work through the trials and tribulations of growing up. “A finished song always brings resolution to my internal conflicts,” she notes. “The problems themselves sometimes never change, but my actions and perspectives do. Every song I’ve ever written carries the motif of being broken and finding the strength to rise above. Often, before I create the song I don’t have this strength, but the empowering lyrics play on repeat in my head until they become reality.”

“I would be nothing without my lyrics. My songwriting is who I am.”

Infinity, which debuted in 2013, was followed with her EP, The New Me, produced by Marcus Barone in 2014. Jordan’s musical expertise began with piano lessons at age six, and has evolved to include drums, voice training, and guitar, all of which she now uses to accompany her songwriting. “Empowering myself with song was life-changing in itself, but that doesn’t even compare to the feeling deriving from other people relating to my songs. It gives me comfort to know that the issues I face are faced by other people, and it gives me a sense of pride realizing that with my music, I can help them feel better about themselves as well.”

She appreciates and is influenced by artists from many genres of music, including Billy Joel, Sara Bareilles, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Kelly Clarkson.

Jordan will be attending University of Miami’s Frost School of Music beginning in the Fall of 2015. “I am so excited to go to Frost. It’s my dream school: the perfect place to continue my music education and work towards my long-term goals of being a professional singer/songwriter.”

Her Here I’ll Stand EP will be available in stores and online June 23rd, 2015. Jordan plans to showcase her talents in assorted venues across the US over the next few months to support the new release.

Sharon Hendrix has performed in over 8,000 shows and it’s only the beginning!

Los Angeles - After years of working just 20 feet from stardom Sharon “Muffy” Hendrix is stepping into the spotlight. Throughout her successful career Sharon has been singing backup on recording sessions and performing on stages across the world with top names including Bob Dylan, Elton John, Tom Jones, Grace Slick & Starship, Olivia Newton-John, George Duke, Dusty Springfield, Freddie Hubbard, Natalie Cole, Harry Chapin, Jermaine Stewart, Mac Davis, Billy Cobham, Michael White, Shirley Bassey and so many other notable musical talents.

Sharon Hendrix began her career as "Muffy" Hendrix singing in the church and school choirs and by the time she reached her teens she became part of The Young Americans, an international touring company of 30 singers from all across the country. Over the next two years Sharon toured the Far East twice, performed on the Ed Sullivan Show and the Kraft Music Hall and worked on various TV specials and commercials. Sharon earned a music scholarship to Chapman University and received her show business education on Las Vegas stages at the side of superstar entertainers including Debbie Reynolds and Sammy Davis, Jr.

Sharon formed a lifetime friendship and working relationship with Barry Manilow from the moment the beloved superstar called her to replace one of the singers in his back-up band. In 1985 Sharon recorded the popular, "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" duet with Barry that appeared on his "Manilow" album as well as the Billboard charts. Currently Sharon is performing with Manilow on his worldwide "One Last Time!" farewell tour which brings us to now!

Sharon's completing her solo debut album which will be available in the fall from Voss Records and has just released the title track, “Nowhere Fast” as the lead single. Sharon co-wrote the song with her producer, Dan Voss Jr. and trumpet virtuoso Steve Madaio. Sharon’s smooth vocal style sits over a contemporary urban Latin beat spiced with exciting percussion, a classic horn solo and an infectious rap by William “June Bug” Lee.

Between breaks in the Manilow tour the industrious Ms. Hendrix is finishing the new album as well as planning her solo career launch. Sharon’s been tirelessly rehearsing with her band working out arrangements on old and new tunes. When the tour ends this summer the Sharon Hendrix Nowhere Fast show will hit the road running and Sharon will be front and center exactly where she’s always been destined to be.

When she’s not on the road Sharon lives in southern California and is the proud mother of three lovely daughters.
