Jann Klose Brings NYC To Life In Mesmerizing Stop-Motion Video For “When I’m With You”
New York City, NY - Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Jann Klose has unveiled the official music video for his latest single, “When I’m With You,” a joyful, synth-rock celebration of human connection. The video—shot entirely using stop-motion cinematography—was directed by Texas-born filmmaker Sam Casey and filmed on location throughout New York City, including iconic landmarks like Times Square, Lincoln Center, and the High Line.
The visually captivating video is the product of over 2,000 photographs, taken in a whirlwind six-hour shoot. Each frame was carefully captured one step at a time—echoing the lyricism and sentiment of the song itself. Jann’s idea to incorporate the concept of a “Daumenkino” (flipbook in German) into the visual storytelling adds a personal and playful layer to the experience, blending innovation with heart.
“I had this idea of shooting a full-on stop motion music video in NYC and pitched it to Sam just days after we met,” says Klose. “He loved it and jumped on board immediately. It was exhausting but exhilarating, and the result is beautiful. Along the way, we engaged with random fans on the street—something that really reflects the soul of the song, ‘When I’m With You.’”
Director Sam Casey embraced the challenge of using stop motion in a city that never pauses: “This is the first project I’ve done using stop-motion, and it was a blast. Jann’s vision for the flipbook opening—his ‘daumenkino’—set the tone. Shooting in NYC with moving elements all around us while controlling just one or two subjects gave the video a surreal, dreamlike quality. You don’t get multiple takes with stop motion, which makes each frame more intentional and alive.”
The single, co-written with Everett Bradley (Bon Jovi, Seal), is a vibrant and emotionally resonant anthem about intimacy, presence, and joy. Everett also co-produced and performed on the track, with production support from Marcus Dembinski, known for his work on Klose’s previous single “Surrender.”
“Now it’s an upbeat celebration with deep undertones of the human connection experience,” says Bradley.
Dembinski adds: “We leaned into influences like 80s synth pop, Billy Joel, A-ha, and the B-52s, and paired them with Jann’s powerhouse vocals and acoustic energy to craft a new sound for him—one that’s bold, bright, and honest.”
With its one-of-a-kind stop-motion artistry, spontaneous New York moments, and heartfelt storytelling, the “When I’m With You” music video is a vivid reminder that joy lives in the little things and connection is always just one step away.

Macon, GA - On June 11th, blind guitar legend, recording artist and producer Joey Stuckey was named Jazz Artist of the Year at the 5th annual Georgia Music Awards. Never knowing how to slow down, Joey is busy working on a variety of projects including writing music with his good friends from the UK Charlie Hoskyns (The Popes), Will Morrison (Modern English) and Paul McGuiness (The Pogues).
However, currently Stuckey is most eager to share his latest music video which has been audio described for the blind.
“To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time a music video has been audio described or narrated for the blind. There have been a hand full of movies, like 'The Passion of the Christ' but, I've never heard of a music video getting the same treatment,” says Stuckey.
Audio description takes a narrator telling the story of what is happening on the screen. It is kind of like an audiobook, but in this case, it is directly relating the story being told by pictures or video in spoken word form so that the blind can also enjoy the antics and adventure of Joey and his band as he desperately tries to get to his concert. Complete with a thrilling car chase, this video is a lot of fun to watch and the blues guitar and vocal prowess of Stuckey can't be denied.

Those Damn Eyes' debut single release, “Mysterious Mixture” was written by vocalist Alyssa Ehrhard and guitarist Daniel Corder. Lyrical and melodic work took place shortly after the pair met in July of 2014, while music was written in the fall of 2013 and recorded in January '14. The band has had the fortunate opportunity to create its recordings with producer and bassist, Matt Noveskey. Their sessions take place at Orb Studios, a masterfully built studio in West Austin. Noveskey's experienced ear and knowledge of exceptional tone has been essential in forging the band's sonic identity.
Alyssa excels as an artist; in addition to her vocal talents, she is an exceptionally talented painter and uses her skilled-hand in creating band artwork. Daniel is a devoted composer and multi-instrumentalist who hones his skill through eclectic musical taste and collaborations in differing genres. Jake Rabin, drummer, has an admirable amount of talent and experience through his involvement in various bands in the Austin and Dallas music scenes. Marc Martell, guitarist, has developed a great finesse with lead guitar-work and shares a different project with Jake. Don Denham, bassist, works as a music teacher and bassist for hire and devotes time to his own passion project.

Van Eede has revealed that he wrote “80% of the album under water” and the album’s startling artwork featuring our protagonist emerging as a knight from a swimming pool is inspired by the fact that Van Eede is a supremely gifted swimmer and that several of his friends have suggested he would be able to swim a mile whilst wearing full body armour. A full UK tour – due to take place above ground - is set to be announced in the next few weeks.

“This is my most ambitious and best album in the history of my career,” THOR states boldly. Reteaming with producers Bruce Duff (Twisted Roots) and Frank Meyer (Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs), the group began writing new material and “came up with the concept of the ‘Metal Avenger’ whereby each song represents THOR’s quest to overcome the overlords of the planet Psykon and free the slaves on the master ship. There is adventure, intrigue and love in the lyrics and story. But most of all there is strength in the music. These songs are HEAVY yet melodic.” Recording took place at Kitten Robot studios with engineer Paul Roessler (The Screamers, 45 Grave) behind the board. Speaking of his guest performers, THOR offers, “I was very fortunate to perform with these incredible musicians who are each superhero characters in their own right. With my Comrades of Metal, I feel more powerful than ever!”

THOR originated in the early ‘70s with body building champion and former Mr. USA Jon Mikl Thor, and quickly gained a devout following thanks in part to the band’s elaborate and supremely entertaining live shows, which frequently featured Jon performing not just outstanding anthems of metal but also astounding feats of strength - bending steel bars with his teeth and exploding water bottles with his lungs! Jon would go on to appear on the Merv Griffin Show, which led to the licensing deal with RCA in late 1976 and the release of their debut album Keep The Dogs Away the following year. But it wasn’t until the group’s 1984 EP Unchained and the follow-up full-length album, Only The Strong, that Jon Mikl & Co. really began to flex their muscles. Those releases contained the now classic songs such as “Lightning Strikes,” “Anger,” “Let The Blood Run Red” and “Thunder On The Tundra,” which earned the band a truly international following. Through the years that following has grown and solidified as new generations of classic metal heads discover the awesome power of the mighty THOR!

“And the Answer Is…” deals with an individual’s attempt at coping and trying to understand mankind’s origins and beyond.
Band leader Matt Brookins comments: “The latest single ‘And the Answer Is…’ deals with the internal thought process people go through as they try to figure out their place in the universe. Attempts at handling the vast scope are a big part of this, because infinity is a concept the human mind has a hard time grasping. Sometimes we think we have things figured out, then we dig deeper and our thought process spirals out of control leaving us as confused as ever. In my specific case, I remember a ‘lazy Sunday’ as a teenager laying on the floor in the sunshine. I fell asleep, but it was that special kind of ‘asleep while awake’ state, where you are conscious and controlling your thoughts…trying to maintain the balance of being aware so you don’t wake yourself up, but also continuing to crunch data in that serene state. I remember thinking ‘that’s it! I’ve figured it out!” only to wake up, and promptly lose everything. I was aware enough while asleep to remember, when I woke, that I was thinking about the meaning of it all and had figured it out – but somewhere between the lucidity of dreaming and waking, I lost the actual answer.”

Los Angeles, CA - XTC fans worldwide are buzzing with excitement about the new video by Prog duo Days Between Stations featuring legendary Colin Moulding titled “The Man Who Died Two Times!” The song comes from the band's critically acclaimed second album 'In Extremis'. Planning for the video began last fall. In October, producer Heidi Hornbacher traveled to the UK to film Colin at his studio. In April, the group filmed the rest of the video in Los Angeles in a small theatre. There is also a behind the scenes video that shows a bit of the 'making of' the video as well as some conversation with Colin Moulding, Paul Whitehead, Heidi Hornbacher, and Days Between Stations' Sepand Samzadeh and Oscar Frederico Fuentes Bills.

Says Sepand, “This was our first video, and since we haven’t toured yet, 'The Man Who Died Two Times' is our first visual exposure. To me the song is the critical inflection point within the concept album -that one has to spiritually die to live again. As a group we all decided that this video would be appropriate to introduce the band. It also exposes more of our quirky and dorky side, because the other pieces are deep, long and moody. We did not have a budget for this video, everyone did this out of their goodwill and artistic integrity. There was so much energy and symbiosis and to me it felt like we were all kids again playing a game at recess. I can’t thank Heidi, Erik and Alex enough, not only for their friendship, but for their talent, integrity and inspiration. You took us to a higher realm and made this dream possible. Colin’s youthful energy, charm and boundless creativity rubbed off on us, you are an inspiration and a true gentleman. To Paul Whitehead, we are sorry you had such a terminal role…. but you played it better than Peter Sellers did in his terminal role in 'The Party'. To Billy Sherwood… none of this would have happened without you! This was one of the highlights of my life. Love to all.”
