Tina Rix is back with captivating new single 'Babe'

 

Nigerian, American artist Tina Rix is back with an afrobeat, dance ready anthem ‘Babe’. Armed with a seductive manner, the fun-loving contender is bathed with flirty lyricism and a sweet production. Receiving previous support from Conversations About Her, Link Up TV, Amor Magazine, H-Wing & Mystic Sons to name a few outlets, Tina, who is named after Tina Turner, is going from strength to strength with each release.

Speaking about the gorgeous new single ‘Babe’, Tina Rix shares, “Babe is a cute song for your special someone. I have masculine and feminine energy and songs like this are important to show the softer side of me. The feminine side of TIna is a great woman, mom, and lover when in a mutually respectful and loving relationship. The warrior side of Tina got to take a break when making this track and put her pretty girl clothes and shoes on, lol!”

Getting to record the female version of Xammie’s household tune, Tina’s take is flirtatious and fuelled with her distinctive afro-pop style. Stating its the simplicity of the track that does it for her, ‘Babe’ feels like Valentine’s Day has come early!

Singer/Songwriter Tracey Coryell, wife of late guitar legend Larry Coryell, has released her new Dance-Rock single SWORDS!

SWORDS - A Winter. A howling deep from within, the expression of your true nature… a letting-go of the internal struggle. A releasing from the mental prison, the Winter of your mind. Acknowledging it’s simply a perception away…your desire, peace, satisfaction, balance.

Essentially SWORDS is about self sabotage... how we push away what we truly desire, be it with people, places or things… the subtle disconnect from our inner being.

Says Tracey, “I pulled the term SWORDS from the suit in the Tarot. Those of you who aren’t familiar with it, the symbolism of SWORDS in the Tarot represents the element of Air (my Sun sign Gemini), thoughts, communication and even heartache from either pain or pleasure. As I find Tarot useful in self-examination and discovery, I decided it would be a perfect fit to express the ever popular topic of shadow-work; the working on our darker sides; the parts of us that might be negative and not in alignment with Divine love.”

Songwriting is the creative outlet for Tracey Coryell’s expression of the divine and her personal therapeutic journey both inspired by celebrating the peaks and valleys of the human experience with an ever tethered Soul to Spirit...

The thirty year career of this singer/songwriter/recording artist has afforded her the opportunity to record with Grammy Award winning producers in Philadelphia, PA  (Al Alberts Jr, Sound Spa Studios)  & Miami, FL (Ron and Howard Alberts, AudioVision Studios) and perform with such greats as her late husband, renowned jazz guitarist Larry Coryell, guitarist Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane), acclaimed jazz/rock drummer Alphonse Mouzon and the legendary Les Paul. Her children’s song-book “Tilikum’s Dream” was published by Eifrig Publishing in 2015 and she is a two-time recipient of the ‘Best Love Song’ award from the Songwriter’s Showcase of America (SSA). Two previous albums include, “Traceyland’s Emotional Roller-Coaster” (2002) and the album “Eleven:11” (2016). Coryell’s latest full-length album, “RaVel” dedicated to her late husband Larry Coryell, released in December of 2019 and features a ten-song collection of emotionally charged, heartfelt compositions delivered with her earthy, sultry, compelling vocals exploring and fusing the styles of pop, rock and countrypolitan.

(2019, 2020) Lead vocals for rock songs “Intense” and “For You Babe” in collaboration with the band Carpe Diem & Fr V from Poland.

SWORDS music was pre-produced by Tracey utilizing and editing sound samples.  She also recorded all of her vocals in her home studio.

Daniel Mauro reveals bittersweet new single 'Wish You Away'

 

Long Island, New York based singer-songwriter and producer Daniel Mauro is an independent artist on a mission to change the pop industry forever. Releasing unparalleled pop songs completely with a DIY nature, Daniel’s known for his engaging lyrics and eccentric production. Speaking about the new release ‘Wish You Away’, Daniel shares, “It’s about finally taking off the rose colored glasses in a relationship and noticing the flaws. I've been in a few relationships where I find myself apologizing for things that I didn't do, and that is a feeling that I think a lot of people can relate to.”

A relatable single that describes what it’s like coming out of the honeymoon period in a relationship and seeing what it really is, ‘Wish You Away’ is a chilled, bittersweet number with moments of euphoria dashed throughout. Musically, the track is based around a simple pop structure but indicates that sometimes all you need is an endearing message and one hell of a vocal.

London based soul-pop singer-songwriter, performer and vocal coach Anouska Taylor is back with a gorgeous new ballad, ‘Awaken’. American bassist Hansford Rowe began his career in the clubs of New York City. With French drummer Pierre Moerlen, he reformed the jazz-rock group Gong. PM’s Gong is considered one of the great fusion bands of the late 70s. Recording guests included icons like Mick Taylor, Steve Winwood and Didier Lockwood. International touring soon secured Hansford a place among the world’s leading bass players and work with Mike Oldfield, Allan Holdsworth, John Martyn, Biréli Lagrène, La Monte Young, David “Fuze” Fiuczynski, Gary Husband etc Hansford, with Warwick bass guitars and guitarist Jon Catler developed the first Just Intonation bass. He is considered an expert in the use of alternate tuning systems. His last record is Decadence by Gong Expresso.
