Texas Blues Rocker LANCE LOPEZ Celebrates The Release Of New Album TROUBLE IS GOOD With A Powerful New Video & A Tour!

Los Angeles, CA – The great civil rights leader John Lewis famously encouraged people to “get in good trouble,” the kind of trouble that disrupts the status quo in order to bring about positive change. Well, fans of guitar phenom Lance Lopez are about to have a little “good trouble” headed their way. Today, Lopez releases his brand new album Trouble Is Good, an all-original album and his first in over 5 years that surely marks the culmination of this brilliant artist’s extraordinary journey from young Texas blues prodigy to one of the most vibrant voices in guitar-based music today!

Featuring a whole host of stellar guest performers including drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner), bassist Danny Miranda (Queen, Blue Öyster Cult), and Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Little Steven and the Disciples) as well as keyboardist Peter Keys (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Trouble Is Good is much more than just a platform for Lopez to show off his impressive chops. The songs, most of which were written either by Lopez or by the album’s producer Joey Sykes, offer both memorable hooks and surprising twists and turns. Lyrically, the album reflect on everything that’s gone on in the world the past few years as well as painting pictures of intense emotional inner turmoil as heard on one of Trouble’s stand out tracks, “Uncivil War,” which finds Lopez trying to find a peaceful resolution to a conflict-scarred relationship.

Texas Blues Guitar Phenom LANCE LOPEZ Invites Fans To “JAM WITH ME” On The First Single From His New Studio Album!

Los Angeles, CA – In a world where pre-programmed keyboard patches, stock digital samplers and now AI-generated melodies threaten to dominate the musical landscape, the people have been calling out for a transformational figure who can usher in a new age of truly organic, soulful music. Guitar hero Lance Lopez is ready to answer that call!

A veteran of the Texas blues music scene that birthed not only the great Steve Ray Vaughan but also legendary southern rockers ZZ Top, Lopez has earned numerous accolades over the course of his 20+ year career from the likes of such foundational guitar figures as Jeff Beck, B.B. King and Johnny Winter, and even counts ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons as a mentor. The song’s theme of collaboration is embedded in the song’s origins as well, having been written by Lopez’s new songwriting partner and Trouble’s producer Joey Sykes, and featuring a guest performance from superstar drummer Gregg Bissonette.
