Go Primitive Ready For Impact With New EP ‘100 Ways’

Five track collection due for release July 13th

A four piece from the UK, Go Primitive are a band who specialise in contemporary rock with a unique twist, following in the footsteps of groups like Foo Fighters and Twin Atlantic while forging their very own sound. It’s an approach which is paying dividends, with previous tracks being fast-tracked onto BBC Introducingshows within a week of uploading.

Always working hard on new material, their next release sees them on rollicking form with new EP ‘100 Ways’, a five song collection inspired by the many obstacles placed in front of independent musicians. Lead single ‘Breathe in, Bleed out’ sees them on typical top form, showing Go Primitive’s rock credentials in all their glory and going all out to bust through those obstacles…

Produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Kids in Glass Houses, Funeral For A Friend, Twin Atlantic, Motorhead, The Blackout, Bullet For My Valentine,  Lower Than Atlantis, Bring Me The Horizon), the EP is unsurprisingly dazzling in its depth of quality. The attention to detail that has gone into infusing these studio tracks with the energy of a live show is what will set them apart. That same attention to detail has also been extended to the excellent artwork, produced by Kids in Glass Houses front man Aled Phillips.

That Go Primitive are associated with such names goes a long way to proving their credentials as they climb the independent music ladder. They have already supported The Subways, We Are The Ocean and others, getting a fantastic response from the big crowds along the way. This, along with the fact that they can count The Editors as fans, has given Go Primitive great confidence that they are on the right track.

It’s that confidence which has given rise in large part to the ‘100 Ways’ EP. In the band’s own words:
“The E.P is a show of our strength to overcome the struggles and constant roadblocks put in front of many bands at our stage. We hope that after countless efforts, this will be the E.P that makes our name stand up to the bigger acts out there and pushes us further in our musical journey.”

A perfect blend of four personalities all fighting for the same goal, the current line up of Go Primitive has moved through various iterations to land in its final configuration. With each band member bringing their own musical background and experiences from different bands and projects, this is one band with all the tools and the grit to break through in 2015.

The ‘100 Ways’ EP is released July 13th.

Cherry White Set To Precede New EP ‘Staring at the Sun’ With Stylish Single ‘Drifter’

‘Drifter’ to be released 1st June, followed by EP on 8th June

Folding the old school songwriting smarts of Fleetwood Mac into the contemporary edge of the Raconteurs, London based four piece Cherry White are an immediately impressive proposition. Their in your face indie-blues sound is highlighted by great hooks and high energy, blending genres in a way that sets them apart from more pigeonholed bands.

Currently building a buzz with their live shows in and around London, Cherry White have now taken to the studio to record a brand new EP, ‘Staring at the Sun’. Inspired by life in London during this austerity era, surrounded by the greed of the wealthy, the tracks circle around an aspiration to reach higher and achieve their goals in the music industry and beyond.

The EP is led out of the gate by single ‘Drifter’, which will be released on June 1st, one week prior to the full EP:  https://soundcloud.com/cherrywhitemusic/drifter

Engineered at Bark Studios by the excellent Brian O’Shaughnessy (Primal Scream, The Firm, My Bloody Valentine), the EP does a fantastic job of capturing the frenetic energy of a band who thrive on a live environment.

Cherry White’s live reputation was cemented at ‘Togfest’ in 2014, where their festival debut to a huge crowd was so well received they immediately sold out of albums. Having also taken to the stage at some of London’s top venues, including The Troubadour, Hope and Anchor (Islington) and Covent Garden Arts Theatre, their reputation in our fair capital is beginning to grow. Further afield, a BBC Wales live session a number of years ago proved there’s life outside the city for this eclectic group.

And with the single and EP on the way, Cherry White will be working harder than ever to make sure that reputation continues to grow into the music career they deserve.

Kinky Dove Rock Out With New Self-Titled EP

3 track release set to be unleashed on June 15th
Born in in Australia but now living in London, Kindy Dove is the musical moniker of frontman Scott Wade and his evolving collective of musicians. Progenitors of gritty, driving rock, the group are readying themselves for a fresh assault on the music industry with a brand new three track EP.

Their particular brand of rock and roll, defined in many ways by the bluesy, post-rock growl of Wade on vocals, is currently in short supply both nationally and globally, and Kinky Dove are now looking to redress that balance.

For a taste of their punchy style, check out the video to EP track ‘Some Kind of Fool’, featuring an epic slap-happy montage of Hollywood moments.
