Rush have revealed details of the 40th anniversary re-release of their debut album.

Entitled Rush ReDISCovered, the box set includes a remastered vinyl LP, a replica of the original promotional poster, publicity pictures of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and then-drummer John Rutsey, plus family tree infopack and additional memorabilia.

The Canadian giants’ first record was launched via Moon Records in March 1974 before being re-released the following year via Mercury Records. The tracklist includes Working Man, In The Mood and Finding My Way, which have remained fan favourites.

Universal Music, who will release Rush ReDISCovered on April 15, recently explained the band were “very involved” with the project, with spokesman Ivar Hamilton saying: “It’s paramount that they participate in the project for the sake of authenticity.”
