Music Icon & Living Legend JUDY COLLINS Earns Grammy Nomination For Her Latest Album SPELLBOUND!

Los Angeles, CA – With a career that spans over an astounding five decades, singer/songwriter Judy Collins continues to reach for new heights with her craft, pushing her renowned talents in new directions, and leaving audiences absolutely spellbound! Just this year she achieved a remarkable first, releasing her first ever album of all original material, with songs that were either written or co-written by herself. And just this week it was announced that this very album, Spellbound, her 55th recording overall, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Folk Album. It’s Collins’s seventh Grammy nomination, and her second in the album category, next to her 2017 duet album with Ari Hest, Silver Skies Blue.

Spellbound was always destined to be something special. Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, the songs draw heavily from Collins’s own life including her childhood (“When I Was A Girl In Colorado”), her early music career at the forefront of the ‘60s folk revolution (“So Alive”) and her most profound social-activist influences (“Thomas Merton”). But it isn’t just the rich autobiographical material that makes Spellbound soar, it is also the production team behind the recording including studio musicians Thad DeBrock, Zev Katz ,and Doug Yowell, as well as co-producer Alan Silverman and Hest, who has the only co-writing credit on the album, for the title track.

It’s a team effort that caps an incredible decade of artistic renaissance for Collins, but at the center of it all remains that unmistakable voice, a voice that has persisted across the years and lost none of its power or beauty. Deluxe Box Set LOST MASTERS & DEMOS Features Unreleased Recordings From TODD RUNDGREN’s ‘60s Power-Pop Project NAZZ!

Los Angeles, CA – Attention music collectors and Todd Rundgren enthusiasts everywhere! Purple Pyramid Records, a subsidiary of Cleopatra Records Inc., is proud to announce the release of an extravagant box set of long-lost studio recordings by the ‘60s power-pop/psych project that brought Todd Rundgren his first taste of musical notoriety and, Nazz. These tracks are taken directly from the original master acetates of the originally conceived 1968 rough mix of Nazz's sophomore album Nazz Nazz. It was at the sessions that Rundgren took his first turn behind the mixing board, developing the production skills and techniques that made him the highly acclaimed producer he is today!

Rundgren’s ambitious vision for the second Nazz album actually encompassed 26 songs spread across 2 LPs. And although the recordings were eventually scrapped and most of the songs reserved for the band’s third album III, these early versions of the songs would profoundly shape not just Nazz’s sound but the trajectory of Rundgren’s own career. In addition, the other recently discovered acetates contain alternate mixes of Nazz’s signature tune “Open My Eyes” as well as the future Rundgren hit “Hello, It’s Me.”

Set for full release on December 2, Lost Masters & Demos brings all of these rarities into one gorgeous package, available as either a 3CD set or 4LP set, that includes a full-color booklet with detailed liner notes from music historian Michael Armes as well as an extensive interview with Nazz engineer and future engineer on Rundgren’s first three solo albums PLUS tons of rare photos! Fans can get a small taste of what’s in store with the single “Forget All About It,” which is being released on all digital platforms prior to the box set’s full release.

Hard Rock Legends UFO’s “No Heavy Petting” Remastered Deluxe Edition 2CD and 3LP 180g Clear Vinyl will be available January 20, 2023! Originally released in 1975, “No Heavy Petting” is UFO’s fifth studio album and the last to be produced by Ten Years After’s Leo Lyons. Stepping up from the rawer sound of “Force It,” the album was their first to feature a permanent keyboard player in the band and gave a nod to what was to come. The album includes a number of tracks that were to become staples of their live set for many years, including “Natural Thing” and “I’m A Loser.”

The newly remastered 2CD digipak with an O card deluxe version includes 5 bonus tracks (one previously unreleased), a poster booklet, and features the Roundhouse 1976 live set. Bryan Ferry Guitarist Quist To Release New Atmospheric Album “Breathing Space” November 18, 2022

Quist is a Danish guitarist & artist based in Los Angeles. He has already toured the world many times as a guitarist, most recently being featured as lead guitarist with UK art rock legend Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. He was featured on Bryan Ferry's album “Avonmore” (2014), alongside Nile Rodgers, Mark Knopfler, Johnny Marr, Flea and Marcus Miller – subsequently touring the world for several years in various incarnations of Ferry’s band.

Quist’s forthcoming solo album “Breathing Space” was recorded in 2022, in his studio in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. It’s a chill, dreamlike sonic universe - with lush keyboards, melodic, bluesy guitar licks and atmospheric field recordings. The album drifts through calming atmospheres of dreamy sounds with layers of meditative drums.

The album’s title and concept was born out of the Pandemic/lockdown life we all lived through and was inspired by this quote from French philosopher Albert Camus: “To understand one's world, one must sometimes turn away from it! To serve better, one must briefly hold it at a distance. Where can the necessary solitude be found, the long breathing space in which mind gathers its strength and takes stock of its courage.”

The music was essentially created both to provide comfort and joy at the time of its making, but also especially to (hopefully) bring a sense of calm and joy to listeners.

Says Quist, “I just hope the music can help folks slow down once in a while, relax, take a deep breath, give themselves a little breathing space and just chill and take a moment to wind down.”

Situated in a chilled, guitar-centric corner of the popular lofi genre, ‘Breathing Space’ features 3 prominent lofi artists – Kanisan (France), softy (South Korea) & Steezy Prime (USA), with a combined listenership of 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

The first single (title track Breathing Space) was released on September 30 - and the full album is released November 18 on Sonder House.

Quist has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, Coachella, Glastonbury and Abbey Road Studios, as well as on many prime time international TV & radio shows. Through years of touring whilst simultaneously posting his trademark ‘jam tracks’ on YouTube, Quist has found an audience of his own – gaining a whopping 150 million views on YouTube, 500k monthly listeners on Spotify and a rising profile as a pioneering solo artist. He is now best known for his popular guitar jams & guitar-fueled lofi beats. Having seen his music added to no less than 6 official Spotify playlists in 2022, his first new single (title track “Breathing Space”) was released on September 30 - and the full album is released November 18, 2022 on Sonder House.
