KOMARA Returns with Haunting New Album KOMARA II

Featuring Pat Mastelotto, David Kollar, Paolo Raineri – With Artwork by Tool’s Adam Jones

The genre-defying trio KOMARA returns with KOMARA II, a powerful and immersive new release that pushes sonic boundaries and challenges musical convention. Featuring King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto, Slovakian avant-garde guitarist David Kollar, and visionary Italian trumpeter Paolo Raineri, the trio weaves ambient textures, industrial grit, and jazz-infused improvisation into a dark, cinematic soundscape.

Building on the bold spirit of their acclaimed debut, KOMARA II welcomes special guests Arve Henriksen (trumpet on “Komarantino”), Bill Munyon (voice on “Not Our Way”), and Deborah Carter Mastelotto (voice on “Relocating Children” and “Burning Man”), adding further depth to the album’s rich and experimental palette. Once again, the visual aesthetic is elevated by a striking cover design from Tool guitarist and artist Adam Jones.

The band will perform select European dates this summer with special guest Trey Gunn—Pat Mastelotto’s former King Crimson bandmate—joining the lineup for an even more expansive live experience.

KOMARA II is available now in a 4-panel CD wallet and digital formats.

2. Allina Day 3:46
3. Not Our Way 1:16

The Moody Blues’ John Lodge to Launch New Tour – Dates Announced for July 2025!

Singer in a Rock and Roll Band’ Tour – Featuring Moody Blues Songs from the Classic Albums

John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, has announced he will be back on the road with an electrifying new show titled ‘Singer in a Rock and Roll Band’!

Following the phenomenal success of his ‘Days of Future Passed’ show over the last two years, John wanted to now go back to basics… what are the songs that he loved performing in the Moody Blues? How could he bring these enduring songs to audiences, staying true to the original sound, yet breathing new life into them? These songs might have been discovered by listeners on release, or by newer generations later, but whenever they first heard them, they made an indelible impression on them. John’s task was clear, he wanted to recreate the sound and the feel of a Moody Blues show of the past, but at the same time bring in the incredible musicianship of his band, and his experience of performing these songs for over 50 years, to give these classic songs that extra dash of magic.

When John wrote the hit single ‘Singer’ in 1972 it was because people were looking to him to change the world… this composition replied that he’s just a singer in a rock and roll band! But his message went on - John wanted everyone to be part of the music, and if you’ve ever experienced one of John’s shows you will know how true this is. The music and camaraderie will lift you up, it may not change the world, but it might make it a little brighter…

This incredible new show will feature songs from ‘the core seven albums’ including ‘Days of Future Passed’, Seventh Sojourn, and more, plus ‘Octave’ and the triple platinum selling album ‘Long Distance Voyager.  It will bring together some of the captivating moments of his ‘Days of Future Passed’ show, all of John’s hits with the Moodies, and, of course, tributes to all his bandmates. This truly will be a show of Moodies Magic and ‘a trip worth taking and remembering’! (Tony Violanti review of John’s show March 24, 2025)

Together with Jon Davison of YES and his 10,000 Light Years Band, John will lovingly recreate ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’, ‘Nights in White Satin’, ‘Ride my See-Saw’, ‘Gemini Dream’, ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘The Voice’, ‘Steppin’ in Slide Zone’, ‘Isn’t Life Strange’ and much more. Also, experience deep cuts from these classic albums, and, together with the electrifying video and lights, be taken on a journey through time.

The tour kicks off on July 19th at the Vogel in New Jersey, and continues through to Des Plaines, IL on August 7th.

Limited VIP merch packages will also be available, go to: https://www.johnlodge.com/tour.

Following a stroke at the end of 2023, John has gone from strength to strength, driven by his love for this music, and his deeply held desire to continue to share it with the fans. The critically acclaimed shows in July and November 2024 are testament to his passion and commitment, and as John says, his hope is that people leave with a little bit of joy around them.

It’s been an absolute pleasure performing Days in its entirety over the last couple of years, but I’m so excited about our new show… there are a few songs I’ve not performed before that I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and many of our classic songs seem to have taken on a new meaning following health challenges, so I hope everyone will enjoy continuing on this journey with me. I’m doing great, and I just love to share this music with the fans. I look out and see familiar faces, and occasionally some new ones, and I love what we’ve shared over so many decades. Thank you for keeping the faith.”

TODD RUNDGREN

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager, going on to found and front The Nazz, the quintessential `60's psychedelic group. In 1969, he left the band to pursue a solo career, recording his debut offering, the legendary Runt. But it was 1972's seminal Something/Anything?, on which he played all the instruments, sang all the vocal parts, and acted as his own producer, that catapulted Todd into the superstar limelight, prompting the press to unanimously dub him 'Rock's New Wunderkind'. It was followed by such landmark LPs as The Hermit of Mink Hollow and the above mentioned A Wizard, A True Star, as well as such hit singles as I Saw The Light, Hello It's Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and Bang The Drum.

In 1974, Todd formed Todd Rundgren’s Utopia (renamed and reconfigured in 1976 as Utopia), an entirely new approach to the concept of interactive musicianship, and embarked on an extensive round of touring and recording. Standout Utopia offerings included Oops! Wrong Planet, Adventures in Utopia, and Oblivion. Along the way, Todd Rundgren’s Utopia combined technical virtuosity and creative passion to create music that initially, for millions, defined the term "progressive rock”, and subsequently, as Utopia, the term “powerpop”.

Rundgren's myriad production projects include albums by Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, Psychedelic Furs, Meat Loaf, XTC, Grand Funk Railroad, and Hall And Oates. Rounding out his reputation as rock's Renaissance Man, Rundgren composed all the music and lyrics for Joe Papp's 1989 Off-Broadway production of Joe Orton's Up Against It (the screenplay commissioned by The Beatles for what was meant to have been their third motion picture). He also has composed the music for the hit film Dumb and Dumber, as well as a number of television series, including Pee Wee’s Playhouse and Crime Story.

In 2009 Rundgren performed his iconic 1973 album A Wizard A True Star in concert in its entirety for the first time ever, and several years later did the same with a double bill: Todd & Healing. He has toured with Ringo Starr as an erstwhile member of the All-Starr Band since 1989, and continues to perform with symphony orchestras both domestically and internationally. In 2018 he toured North America with original Utopians Kasim Sulton and Willie Wilcox for the first time in 33 years. After the release of his long-awaited autobiography The Individualist, he spearheaded the world’s first hybrid concert/book tour highlighting music across his 50-plus-year career.

In 2017 on successive weekends he was awarded honorary doctorates from both the Berklee School of Music and DePauw University.

In 1998 Todd debuted his new PatroNet technology which for the first time allowed fans of a musical artist to subscribe directly to the artist’s musical output via the Internet. This caps a long history of groundbreaking early multimedia "firsts", including:

•1978: The first interactive television concert, broadcast live over the Warner/QUBE system in Columbus, Ohio (the home audience chose each song in real time during the concert by voting via QUBE’s 2-way operating system).
•1978: The first live nationally broadcast stereo radio rock concert (by microwave), linking 40 cities around the country.
•1979: The opening of Utopia Video Studios, a multi-million dollar state-of-the-art facility. The first project produced by Todd there is Gustav Holst’s The Planets, commissioned by RCA Selecta Vision as the first demonstration software for their new videodisc format.
•1980: Creation of the first color graphics tablet, which was licensed to Apple and commercially released as The Utopia Graphics Tablet.
•1981: Time Heals, the first music video to utilize state-of-the-art compositing of live action and computer graphics (produced and directed by Todd), becomes the eighth video to be played during the launch of MTV on August 1, 1981.
•1982: The first live national cablecast of a rock concert (on the USA Network), simulcast in stereo to over 120 radio stations.
•1982: The first two commercially released music videos, one of which was nominated for the first-ever Grammy awarded for “Best Short Form Video” in 1983.
•1992: The first commercially available music downloads via CompuServe.
•1993: The release of “No World Order”, the world’s first interactive record album on CD-i.
•1994: The release of “The Individualist”, the world’s first full-length Enhanced CD.
•1994: The world’s first interactive concert tour.
•1998: Launches PatroNet, the world’s first direct artist subscription service -- predicts that someday "music will be sold by the pound".
•2016: The production of the world's first full length concert shot with multiple Virtual Reality 360º cameras.
•2021: Spearheaded the “Clearly Human” virtual concert tour, featuring 25 live-streamed performances geo-fenced and tailored to a different US city each night.

The Moody Blues’ John Lodge USA Feb and March 2025 Tour – New Dates Added!

Performs Days of Future Passed Tour” - Playing the iconic album in its entirely, plus a selection of CLASSIC HITS

John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will be back on the road in February and March with his electrifying ‘Performs Days of Future’ show, featuring a first set of Moody Blues classic hits, and a second set of this iconic album, performed in its entirety.

The tour kicks off on February 19th at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, and includes 12 dates in the NE, Midwest and Florida, plus his appearance on the ‘Rock and Romance Cruise’, sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on March 15. Then John will be taking his show to the UK for the very first time - ‘Bringing it Home’!

All dates are now on sale, with limited VIP packages available, go to: https://www.johnlodge.com/tour.

This is a unique opportunity to hear fan favorites such as ‘Isn’t Life Strange’, ‘Legend of a Mind’, ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’ and ‘Ride my See-Saw’, plus this groundbreaking album. John and his band lovingly recreate these classic songs, in full symphonic glory, and together with his tributes to his bandmates, and the mesmerizing video of Graeme Edge reciting his poetry, the audience is truly transported back to Moody Blues concerts of the past.

Following a stroke at the end of 2023, John has gone from strength to strength, driven by his love for this music, and his deeply held desire to continue to share it with the fans. The critically acclaimed shows in July and November 2024 are testament to his passion and commitment, and as John says, his hope is that people leave with a little bit of joy, and certainly the audience can be seen leaving with Moodies magic around them.

Joining John on stage are his 10,000 Light Years Band featuring Alan Hewitt and Billy Ashbaugh (from the Moody Blues touring band), Duffy King and Jason Charboneau, plus Jon Davison of YES will again be joining John on stage to provide his soaring vocals on ‘Nights in White Satin’ and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’.

A lot of these places we used to go to as the Moody Blues, and I just want to give the fans a sense of that time again. It may not be a Moody Blues show, but Alan, Billy, Duffy, Jason and, of course Jon, create an incredible energy on stage, and such beautiful music. Then when Graeme appears on screen, and I turn to hear his beautiful words, it all makes me feel part of something very special, and I can feel I share it with the audience. Being on stage with them all, I think we all smile together, all of us on stage, and all of those in the audience. It’s a little moment away from the challenges of life.”

Check out the tour video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqUEvAo97Hk

“Days of Future Passed” was released 58 years ago, and was arguably the start of progressive rock. John has surrounded himself with a band who put simply, love performing together, and who appreciate and respect the legacy of the music. The Moodies may not perform any more, and the loss of Graeme, Ray and Mike is felt deeply, but this show honours John’s friends and the music.

The electrifying show will also be in support of John’s new EP “Love Conquers All” out on Feb 14th, and available now for pre-order on Amazon and other online stores. Signed copies are also available including limited edition vinyl. The first single ‘Love Will Conquer All’ is available now on all streaming services and hit the No. 1 spot over New Year on the Fab Chart.

Mothers of Invention Keyboard & Synthesizer Legend Don Preston Embarks on First European Solo Tour September 2024

Pianist & Synthesizer legend Don Preston will be touring Europe starting in September (tour dates below). Don Preston leads a life filled with music, innovation, and experimentation in acoustic and electronic music. “Groundbreaking” is a phrase that is clearly overused. With Don it rings true. One of the first performers to drag a pile of oscillators and filters onstage, he brought his classical training to the Avant Garde. In the early 60s Frank Zappa would come to see Don’s “electronic music with films of bacterial life” shows in Los Angeles. Don was soon in Zappa’s radical new group The Mothers Of Invention, touring and playing on classics like “We're Only In It For The Money” and “Roxy & Elsewhere” from 1966 to 1973.

Don has played with everyone from Elvin Jones, Gil Evans, and Nat King Cole to The Residents, Jack Bruce and Robbie Krieger.  His keyboard solos on Zappa albums, as well as countless soundtracks like Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now,” are considered ground-breaking moments in synthesizer music history.

Still very active in his 90’s, Don was there for the dawn of electronic musical performance, and today grafts new technologies into his experimental palette with software synths & iPhone apps, blending jazz, rock, comedy, magic and ambient synths into a captivating performance.

DON PRESTON SOLO EUROPEAN TOUR
9/24 Porgy & Bess Vienna
9/25 Prague Czech
9/26 Prague Czech
9/27 Broumod Under
9/29 NordHausen, Germany
9/30 Bb (Jazz Club) Berlin, Germany
10/2 Weert, Netherland
10/3 Russelsheim, Germany
10/5 Brussels, Belgium
10/6 Stuttgart, Germany

The guy that really impressed me was Don Preston, I didn’t know what that stuff was when I heard it on Frank Zappa's records. I said, ‘Man!’” - GEORGE DUKE

Preston not only brought his skewed piano sensibility into the creative jazz context, he lugged along a little of his zany synthesizer as well…touching on all these associations (Carla and Paul Bley, John Carter, Zappa and Cole Porter), showing what he can do twisting a standard around and delving a bit into his own compositional bag as well. Preston resides on the edge of tonality, toying with it.” – DOWNBEAT

Revisiting choice moments of weirdness and glory, as well as dig into original works and unlikely standards, is not to be missed. The range of program is somewhat camouflaged by the seamless interplay of Preston and cohorts. They possess a cohesion born of fluidity that is reminiscent of Paul Bley’s 60’s trios, but they have their own crisp edge. It is a high common denominator for such a diverse program.” – JAZZTIMES

Best known as the first synth wielding Mother of Invention - Frank Zappa’s keyboardist aide de camp, to others he is an avowed New Music experimentalist, whose work in theatre, and with assorted sonic daredevils is the stuff of underground acclaim.......in the jazz orbit Preston’s credits have included Gil Evans, Carla Bley, Buell Niedlinger, Michael Mantler, John Carter, and Bobby Bradford” – DOWNBEAT

Preston demonstrated anew that he is one of the most consistently exciting keyboardists anywhere, he plays with an intensity and a rhythmic vitality that approached the demonic, at climactic moments smashing the keys with a forearm and elbow, as if the piano were just not instrument enough for him.” - LA JAZZ SCENE

The universe of Gong began in 1969 when visionary Daevid Allen was inspired by a profound psychedelic vision. A founder member of Soft Machine, Allen incorporated his spiritual and metaphysical leanings into an evolving collective. More a mythology than a band in the conventional sense, Gong established itself as one of the most unique, innovative, and experimental rock groups of the seventies, through an exploratory mix of rock, jazz and psychedelia with elements of mysticism and surrealism, unafraid to deliver its messages directly, obliquely or whimsically.

The current incarnation, who were put together by Daevid for his swansong album with Gong, I See You, honour his intention that Gong do not die with him, urging the band to “carry it on into new unknown heights and depths far beyond anything I could ever imagine myself”.

The current lineup of Kavus Torabi, Dave Sturt, Fabio Golfetti, Ian East and Cheb Nettles is the most stable in Gong's illustrious history, having written, recorded and toured together for eight years since Allen's passing. A dynamic, powerful and explosive live band, their music draws from the credo of the original Gong while remaining committed to pushing the composition, performances and message into new realms, paying no mind to nostalgia.

Symphonic Rock Pioneers Renaissance Featuring Annie Haslam Will Perform Their ‘In Gratitude’ Farewell Tour Fall 2024!

Renaissance, the legendary symphonic rock band featuring Annie Haslam, will be back in the US playing select dates from October 17th through October 31st. This will mark 54 years since the formation of the band and its 16th consecutive year of touring since its reactivation in 2009.

Renaissance leader and vocalist Annie Haslam remarked that “We are very proud but sad to announce our ‘In Gratitude’ Farewell Tour. Where did the time go? Looking back over the years, I believe we have made history in the worlds of Progressive and Symphonic Rock.”

The upcoming shows will include stunning arrangements of “Ocean Gypsy,” “Northern Lights,” “Forever Changing,” “Mother Russia,” “Carpet of the Sun,” “Ashes are Burning” and other favorite classics. Ms. Haslam will be joined on stage by long-time musical associate Rave Tesar on piano, along with Mark Lambert on guitars/vocals, Geoffrey Langley on keyboards/vocals, Frank Pagano on drums, percussion/vocals, and John Galgano on bass.

Annie Haslam noted that “Performing with Renaissance since 1971 has been my whole life. I still love singing these unique, surreal, dramatic and romantic songs and pairing up with some of the finest orchestras in the world. All of this was born from the music of Michael Dunford, John Tout, Terry Sullivan and Jon Camp combined with the emotional and poetic words of Betty Thatcher. Our music has filled the hearts and minds of many thousands of fans around the world. It started for me, with a dream from my childhood that ended in this miracle called Renaissance! Rave Tesar, is an extraordinary man and musician I have worked with in my solo band since 1989 and with Renaissance since 2009. He has also been a very big help in keeping the band 'alive'! Some very talented musicians have stepped into our band, and their devotion and hard work have added to the band’s touring longevity and personality.”

Renaissance is a band with a rich history unique unto themselves as progressive rock pioneers who rose from the ashes of the seminal UK rock band, The Yardbirds. Acclaimed for their unique blending of progressive rock with classical and symphonic influences, the band's career has spanned fifty plus years spearheaded by the 5-octave voice of Annie Haslam and the masterful songwriting skills of Michael Dunford, John Tout, Jon Camp and Terry Sullivan. They are widely considered to be the band that most successfully and routinely utilized the sound of a full orchestra in their recordings.

The band has toured throughout the world and has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Chorale Society. Renaissance had a top ten hit in the UK with their song “Northern Lights” that still demands airplay to this day.

UK Prog Legends Curved Air “The Rarities Series Box Set” Available September 20, 2024

Spirit of Unicorn Music are pleased to announce the release of “The Rarities Series Box Set” from Curved Air, which will be released on 20th September, 2024.

This 6 CD box set brings together all the CD’s previously released in the Rarities series but which have been out of print for some considerable time.  The package also includes a booklet featuring brand new sleeve notes, written by PROG magazine’s editor, Jerry Ewing.  Ewing has interviewed the band’s enigmatic and beguiling lead singer, Sonja Kristina, viewed by many as the first lady of prog;  providing a new, fresh perspective on these recordings.

Curved Air formed in 1970 and brought together the influences of rock, folk and classical music into their work, developing a fascinating and ground-breaking progression fusion sound.   They went on to become a seminal band within the British progressive rock movement who have endured the test of time and still perform live to this day.

The box set includes:

Tapestry of Propositions: An hour-long version of “Propositions”, recorded live at 14 different locations during 2013/14.

Curved Space: previously released as Francis Monkman’s “Jam” but now featuring 2 unreleased bonus tracks.

Infinity: featuring all new 2016 studio recordings.

The Second British Rock Meeting 1972: Features the only known recording of this line-up improvising. The last track is an extended jam on their hit, Vivaldi, and lasts over 30 minutes.

Live Under The Bridge: Featuring a performance of the legendary “Air Conditioning”, in its entirety.

Set to be an exciting Summer for Curved Air, July will see an acoustic line-up of the band fly to the USA and Canada  for a string of 21 live shows, as part of the Heat Of The Moment Tour alongside other progressive music greats, Asia, Focus and Martin Turner - ex Wishbone Ash.

The album is available to pre-order here: https://burningshed.com/store/spirit-of-unicorn-music_store

Prog Ensemble Circuline’s New Album “C.O.R.E” Released on the Inner Nova Music Label on September 20th, 2024

Prog Ensemble Circuline’s highly anticipated new album “C.O.R.E.” will be released on the Inner Nova Music label on September 20th, 2024. Circuline’s 2024 “C.O.R.E.” Virtual Tour began Friday, January 12th, 2024, and will consist of 57 events in 48 weeks, with Single releases, Lyric videos, Official videos, “Behind the Scenes” videos, and Livestream Q&A events where the band is able to connect with their fans around the world.

Says keyboardist Andrew Colyer, “With this international virtual tour, we have two goals: 1.) We want to get our music exposed to as many people as possible, to continue to grow our fan base worldwide. 2.) We want to deepen our relationships with the fans who are the most passionate. Releasing singles, lyric videos, and Official Videos accomplishes the first goal, and by doing these in-depth, ‘Behind the Scenes’ videos, we accomplish the second goal. Packaging everything together into a single 12-month celebration of the new album will hopefully capture more attention for future opportunities for live performing and touring, with this fantastic new lineup.”

Circuline’s “C.O.R.E.” was written and recorded between 2018 and 2023, for this album the band wanted to keep all the writing “in-house”. So, the majority of the material was written by Andrew, Darin, and Natalie. Billy Spillane had input into almost every song, before he decided it was time to move on. Two of the songs were co-written with Matt Dorsey, who is still a good friend and colleague of the band’s – Andrew will be performing with his band at the International ProgStock Festival this year.  Alek Darson had invaluable input during the writing and arranging stages. Shelby and Dave brought new perspectives and their own unique artistry to these songs, and the band couldn’t be happier with the result. The icing on the cake is to have good friend Joe Deninzon (Kansas, Stratospheerius) as a Guest Artist for some killer electric violin parts!

Says Andrew, “Since the music is the easiest part of the writing for us, we focused on the Songwriting - the lyrics and melodies. That’s the hardest part for us, which is one of the many reasons it took so long to finish the record. We are natural “long-form storytellers”, with most of our songs in the past being six to eight minutes long. Our intention is to appeal to a wider audience, which often means shorter attention spans, so we challenged ourselves to write some shorter, “radio-friendly, pop-rock” songs. We also wanted to write some faster songs, since our default in the past has been in the mid-tempo, more mellow range. So, we accomplished that. I got my ‘power ballad anthem’ in there. Of course, our influences of modern and classic progressive rock, such as YES, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Steven Wilson, and Gong, are also represented. It’s definitely an eclectic album.”

Track Listing
1) Tempus Horribilis (6:22) - out of the gate, a proggy epic about the turbulent times we’ve been living in.....
2) Third Rail (4:20) - a short-form song about the hazardous topics in relationships.....
3) Say Their Name (6:18) - think “Steven Wilson meets Pierre Moerlin’s Gong”.....
4) All (7:54) - co-written with Matt Dorsey, it’s a prog epic in 9.....
5) Temporal Thing (5:51) - a song about the ambivalence that can present in long-term relationships.....
6) You (6:22) - dark, man.....
7) Blindside (6:08) - co-written with Matt Dorsey, it’s your power ballad anthem.....
8) Transmission Error (9:23) - another song about relationships, “finding yourself”, or space creatures.  We still can’t decide.  It’s your 10-minute prog epic to close the album!

Recorded at:
The Cave, Red Hook, New York.  Engineered by Andrew Colyer.
Old Street Studios, London, England.  Engineered by Shelby Logan Warne
Open Sky Studios.  Baltimore, Maryland.  Engineered by Dave Bainbridge.
Joe’s Place.  Kansas Touring Rig.  Engineered by Joe Deninzon.

Famed PUBLIC IMAGE LTD. Bassist JAH WOBBLE Offers Sneak Peak Of Live Show Ahead Of Blockbuster North America Tour!

Los Angeles, CA – Audiences have been patiently awaiting the opportunity to catch a live performance from former-PiL innovator Jah Wobble ever since it was announced that the visionary figure and pioneering post-punk producer/multi-instrumentalist would be crossing the pond for a multi-week run on North American shores. Now that the wait is almost over, Wobble has just released an extended two-track single that offers a sumptuous taste of what’s in store for those lucky enough to score a ticket!

Recorded at the historic Lighthouse in Dorset, England, the single highlights two songs from PiL’s landmark 1979 Metal Box album, “Careering” and “No Birds (Do Sing),” which have been filtered, morphed and reinvented by Wobble and his longtime collaborator Jon Klein (Siouxsie & The Banshees/Specimen) in front of an enthralled audience. A studio version of “Careering” was featured on Wobble’s 2021 album Metal Box - Rebuilt In Dub, but as these live recordings show, Wobble’s stage performance offers an even more expansive vision of the songs, stretching them out into epic-length opuses and giving them room to breathe and grow into musical behemoths!

THE RAVEONETTES Announce Highly Anticipated New Covers Album “Sing…” & First U.S. Tour In A Decade, Share Fresh Take On EVERLY BROTHERS Classic “ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM!”

Los Angeles, CA – Acclaimed indie rock duo The Raveonettes are set to take their hypnotic, dream pop sound to new heights on a much-anticipated new album, “Sing...,” available everywhere on July 19. This album is a remarkable collection of inspired covers, showcasing the band's unique interpretations of classics by The Shangri-Las, The Cramps, Buddy Holly, The Shirelles, The Velvet Underground, and many more!

Fans have already been clamoring about the band’s surprisingly lush cover of the beloved Gram Parsons alt-country masterpiece “Return Of The Grievous Angel,” released earlier this month. And today The Raveonettes treat us to the dreamiest of rock lullabies, the sweetly lilting Every Brothers ballad “All I Have To Do Is Dream.” Drenched in reverb with brittle, chiming guitars and a floor tom-heavy drum groove that’ll wake the neighbors, The Raveonettes turn the Everly’s sweet soda-fountain ‘50s bop into a modern shoegaze epic with a breadth and depth that you have to hear to believe.

Guitarist/vocalist Sune Rose Wagner says, “Sharin and I used to perform songs by The Everly Brothers before we changed our name to The Raveonettes, so our love for this band goes way back. You won’t find a more dreamy song than ‘All I Have To Do Is Dream,’ it’s the perfect lullaby in my book. We loved recording our version and hope people will rediscover such a timeless classic.”

The Raveonettes, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, have carved out a unique niche in the indie rock scene with their signature blend of dark, moody soundscapes and melodic pop sensibilities. With "Sing...," they push their creative boundaries even further, breathing new life into timeless tracks while preserving the essence that made them iconic. Watch for “Sing…” to be released on all formats including CD and vinyl July 19!
