LA Songwriter Bob Beland Releases New Album "Welcome" Plus 3 Unreleased Studio Albums!
Los Angeles – Bob Beland is an American born musician/songwriter from Los Angeles, CA, where he has performed, written and recorded original music from 1973 to the present. Much to the excitement of his fans worldwide, Bob has just released his much anticipated seventh studio album “Welcome” on his own Wrong Way Works label. Along with the release of “Welcome”, Bob recently collaborated on a track for 10cc/Godley & Creme legend Kevin Godley for his forthcoming solo album!
“Welcome” is my seventh self produced solo album release and was written and recorded over 2018 at Wrong Way Works, Mar Vista, California. Extra special credit should be given to my good friend Greg Embrey for all of his help and involvement along the way. The opening track, “Rocky Up! (love theme from “The Bang Bang Theory”) is an instrumental version of a song I co-wrote earlier last year with Kevin Godley, from the acclaimed UK band 10cc and groundbreaking art rockers Godley & Crème fame, which is called “The Bang Bang Theory” that will be included as part of his first solo album “Muscle Memory” due out soon on the UK label state51conspiracy.
Bob Beland decided to release three other studio albums that he recorded over the last three years but never released until now.
“Forward and Backworks” is a conceptual idea for orchestra that I recorded in 2015. The title refers to the four opening tracks and music that has a reverse or “mirror” counterpart. The album also contains four other original compositions. The sole guest musician on the album is classical violinist Paula Kuhr from the acclaimed multi Ethnic orchestra MESTO.
“Mar Vista” was recorded in 2016 and features the only guest musician on the album, Grammy award winning classical percussionist T.J. Troy whom I met as a member of the MESTO orchestra.
“Mano Sinistra” Latin music terminology for “to be performed with the left hand” was recorded in 2017 and features the talents of acclaimed pedal steel player Greg Leisz who has recorded and performed with renowned music artists such as k.d. lang, Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and whom I first met as a member of the Funky Kings with Jules Shear, Jack Tempchin and Richard Stekol way back in 1975. Peter Curry on drums and bass is better known as the bassist for Los Straightjackets. I’ve also worked with Pete before on my first full album “Amnesia Lane” as well as co-writing a few instrumentals for his surf group the Halibuts. Pedal steel player and premier microphone designer Dave Pearlman, The Legendary Fontenelle DuClaw on keyboards, bass, and vocals, bassist Joe McGrath and vocalist Remy Beland round out the rest of the musical guests on the album.
Now, a little background on the players who contributed their time and talents to “Welcome.”
Greg Embrey was the co-founder of the mid 70’s L.A. rock band the Furys whom I later joined as their lead guitarist in the mid 80’s. A.K.A. The Legendary Fontenelle DuClaw
Bob Gross is someone I’ve known since the early 1970’s. Among the other acts he’s worked with was Delaney Bramlett of Delaney & Bonnie fame and currently can be seen and heard gigging with the Deanna Bogart Band. Bob is also playing on “The Bang Bang Theory” for Kevin Godley as well.
Richard d’Andrea is a friend and former Furys alumi who’s been a mainstay in the L.A. rock scene since the 70’s most notably founding the Know with Gary Valentine and working with musicians such as the Roosters and Carla Olson. Richard’s just released his first solo album under the handle Raw Terra called “Mars 12 Earth 0.”
Bobby Pickett is another dear old friend who worked extensively with the great Etta James, Sugarloaf, Detective, Jimmy Page and many other top names in music.
Doug D’Martino is from an earlier incarnation of the Furys
Marty Korth is a long standing friend of mine who also spent some time in the Furys and has played bass on other songs that I’ve written and recorded over the years. He’s a great film animator as well working on many classic Walt Disney and Hanna Barbarra features.
Stephen Linsley is a new friend I met through my old buddy Jules Shear. Stephen was the original bassist in the Jim Carroll Band and is also a fine portrait photographer.
Joe Conte is yet another former member of the Furys who came in at the last minute and played some very cool harmonica for me on “Rocky Up!’
Allie Menapace is an acoustic bassist I met through my old friend Peter Curry from Los Straightjackets fame. Pete suggested Allie for my song “Welcome Me” and she came through with flying colors.
Kevin Louden is a fine pedal steel guitarist, dobro, and multi-instrumentalist I’ve gotten to know over the past few years who’s based in Frederic, Wisconsin and plays all throughout the state.
Me? I’m just a musician. You can tell me by the way I walk… Enjoy!

Multicultural European Singer-Songwriter EMILY JOHNSON Releases Her Debut EP OPEN YOUR HEART Produced By NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN
“She has an extraordinary voice, superb.” - John Mclaughlin
San Rafael, CA - Sometimes known as “The Lady of Heart,” EMILY JOHNSON is a Bulgarian-born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and composer. Having performed around the world for many years, she is releasing OPEN YOUR HEART, her debut EP, on May 11, 2018, with the help of Tarpan Records in the United States. This EP was produced by NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN and features 4 original songs.
EMILY JOHNSON was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, at a time when the country was still under the influence of the Soviet Union. Her mother is Bulgarian and her father Nigerian, a mix which made her quite different from the other children in her own neighborhood and even her own country. Different by color, but also different in her heightened sensitivity which is expressed so wonderfully in her music.
“Open your heart,” EMILY JOHNSON sings on her soon to be released debut EP of the same name. To her this statement is more than words; it is a way of life. On this release of original songs, she creates her art with something beyond passion, giving herself to her audience with a great generosity, energy, and sincerity. Emily brings others together to ignore prejudices, erase borders, and overcome difficulties. She shares with them a simple pleasure which is to SING!
Emily has been fortunate to work with some music industry greats, including the incredible guitarist John McLaughlin who invited her on stage for an emotional performance of “Redemption Song.” Another is the world famous, Grammy Award-winning American producer NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin), who graciously opened the doors of his Tarpan Studios to produce OPEN YOUR HEART.
Ever since John McLaughlin discovered EMILY JOHNSON on stage on the Côte d'Azur, the Mahavishnu Orchestra founder has consistently praised her as an artist he already considers “a star.” Emily would certainly reply that she also owes much of her success to his friendship and support. John McLaughlin says, “If one day EMILY JOHNSON is on the top of the charts, it will be because of her talent. She has an extraordinary voice, superb. She has it all! An inner and outer beauty. She can sing everything.”
Emily appreciates this immense compliment coming from an artist with such a career. “He is more than a musician; John McLaughlin is a Legend and a great friend and I am so blessed to know him!” she says. They have performed together several times both live and in the studio. Their relationship is more than beautiful; it is strong, sincere and much more than words.
Even better, John invited EMILY JOHNSON to cross the Atlantic to join NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN, the former Mahavishnu Orchestra drummer who became one of Billboard Magazine’s Top Ten Producers of all time. “John has opened up new horizons for me,” says Emily. “He is not only a friend but also my Light.” “The Light,” as she sings on the track from OPEN YOUR HEART that she wrote and dedicated to him.
OPEN YOUR HEART features some amazing performances, with NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN playing many instruments and featuring performances by Chris “Heist” Walden (Keyboards/Electronic Drums, “Open Your Heart”), Jim Reitzel (Guitar, “Open Your Heart”), and Cornell “CC” Carter and Deedee Simon (Back-up Vocals, “The Light” and “Open Your Heart”). The song “I’m Blessed” features Rapper G-Dub. OPEN YOUR HEART was recorded at Tarpan Studios by Jim Reitzel and mixed by Dave Frasier.
Today this beautiful story continues with new collaborations on both sides of the Atlantic and with the release of her first project, simply titled OPEN YOUR HEART. An obvious choice, isn't it?

Singer/Songwriter David Fitzpatrick to Release Studio Album "Parachutes in Hurricanes"
New album due APRIL 27th
Guitarist/Songwriter David Fitzpatrick who has led Milwaukee’s Dave Fitzpatrick Band for decades will release his first major solo work entitled “Parachutes in Hurricanes” on Daystorm Music. Known for his production résumé, musician/engineer/producer Gary Tanin (Jack Spann, Sam Llanas, Roger Powell, Daryl Stuermer) was recruited to collaborate on Fitzpatrick’s solo opus due to arrive April 27th.
Nearly three years in the making, many musicians provided their artistry along with core members of David’s band. Fitzpatrick and Tanin spent countless session hours crafting the melodies and arrangements that resulted in the compositions on the album. “It was an extensive undertaking that could only have been steered by this songwriter’s single-minded passion for perfection,” explains producer Gary Tanin, “It took David's uncompromising excellence, courage, persistence, and dedication to the art form. I'm extremely proud of our achievement.”
Under the eagle eye of veteran engineer Ric Probst, Planet Green Productions recorded the entourage at Tanner-Monagle, Inc. Guest musicians included Jack Spann, Jazz Guitar legend Dick Eliot, Dave Schoepke, Michael Koch, Ethan Bender, Saxophonist Luke Lilla, and Dave Fitzpatrick Band members Paul Noeske, Gerry Ochoa, Craig Brog and Tom Buckley.
“Fitzpatrick's vocalizing comes on like Metallica's James Hetfield raised on an aural diet of John Mellencamp and The Smithereens tops off a sound at once reassuringly familiar and yet currently unique.” Jamie Lee Rake - Shepherd Express
A “spiritual restlessness” in a body of work that represents a life’s worth of insight, "Parachutes in Hurricanes" balances joy and darkness expressing down-to-earth emotion packed with heartfelt examinations of love and life that every person can relate to.
The album releases April 27th in digital formats and June 8th in physical formats through Daystorm Music. Available digitally on 04/27 via iTunes, Amazon or CD Baby.

Rock Singer/Songwriter MICHAEL TRACY Releases Fourth Studio Album STILL GOT SOUL Following Years of Notable Performances
Charlotte, NC - MICHAEL TRACY combines straightforward American Rock and Roll with poignant lyrical themes, reminiscent of Rock Singer/Songwriter idols like Tom Petty, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, and Bruce Springsteen. He has released four studio albums, and together with his band has shared the stage with Bon Jovi (garnering him a featured article in Billboard Magazine), Poison, George Thorogood, Styx, Foreigner, Don Felder, Jefferson Starship, Dokken, and Zach Myers (Shinedown). MICHAEL TRACY will release his new album STILL GOT SOUL in stores and online November 17, 2017. This latest effort is his most ambitious yet, representing an artist who has clearly found his voice and a "lane" to call his own.
His previous label experiences not being a perfect fit, MICHAEL TRACY was inspired to start his own independent label, TW Music Group, to support his new release, and set out to find the right producer that could capture the sound and style he had spent years cultivating, but had yet to realize on a record. In late 2015 Michael would find what he was looking for with Los Angeles producers Bob Marlette (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper) and Sahaj Ticotin (Ra). He traveled to LA and recorded three songs with them that would appear on his early-2016 release Love And Worries, a short collection of previously unreleased material. From those original sessions, a bond emerged between Michael and producer Sahaj Ticotin, and a shared belief that together they could create great records. They got together again in late 2016, co-writing an original Holiday tune that Michael had been working on called “Poinsettia Red.”
Immediately in 2017 they began plotting STILL GOT SOUL, Michael’s next full-length album. All songs on this stellar new release were written by MICHAEL TRACY and Sahaj Ticotin, and produced, recorded, and engineered by Sahaj in April and May 2017. Featuring mastering by Paul Logus of PLX Mastering and album artwork from Jason Taylor, Scott Hart, and Shannin Washburn, STILL GOT SOUL is an instant classic for every fan’s collection.
Though his time in the studio throughout 2017 kept his performances limited, Michael still booked some of his most notable shows to date. In February MICHAEL TRACY and his band opened for Bon Jovi in Greenville, SC, garnering him a featured article in Billboard Magazine. In the early spring, he played two arena shows opening for Poison, and in September was on the PNC Pavilion stage in Charlotte opening for the Jeff Foxworthy/Larry The Cable Guy Back Yard BBQ featuring Marshall Tucker Band & Foghat.
The new MICHAEL TRACY album STILL GOT SOUL will release in stores and online November 17, 2017 and he will continue to perform in support of the release throughout 2017 and 2018. For more information about MICHAEL TRACY, please visit his website and social media pages via www.michael-tracy.com.
MICHAEL TRACY began his journey as a singer/songwriter in early 2011, stepping on stage at a local open mic to nervously perform some songs he had just written. He had spent his early 20’s in the Navy, stationed on both coasts and traveling to countries throughout the Mediterranean. He married his wife while in the Navy and they have two children together. It was later that Michael joined together his love of words and music as a songwriter, having learned guitar as a child fascinated with books and writing. The open mic performance awakened something in him and he continued honing his chops, jumping on stages all over Charlotte and jamming with local musicians. He entered the studio in November 2011 to record his first album, Enough Small Talk.
Over the next two years, MICHAEL TRACY put a band together and impressed audiences with his high-energy and soulful performances. By 2013 he won his first of many regional awards with the reader’s choice award for Best Songwriter from Creative Loafing Best of Charlotte. He also won the Charlotte Music Awards 2013 and performed his first major opening gig as the supporting act for George Thorogood at The Fillmore. He booked more high profile gigs in 2014, including opening slots for Styx, Foreigner, Don Felder, Jefferson Starship, Dokken, and Zach Myers (Shinedown), and ended the year ended with his own headline show at The Fillmore promoted by Live Nation. While spending 2014 performing across the region, Michael also returned to the studio and produced his next album Gonna Smile, which was signed by the indie label Spectra Records and released in February 2015.

Singer/Songwriter Amanda Abizaid Releases New Project in Support of HelpPhilippineSchools.org, Walking In Twos EP feat. Legendary Stephen Stills
“Amanda is Fabulous. Really! Check this out!” - Stephen Stills
By making state-of-the art teaching technology available, while at the same time seeing to the need for proper food and clothing, HelpPhilippineSchools.org insures a prosperous, personal and professional future for young minds in the country. Amanda is a professional singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles, CA and she is the Cultural Ambassador to the organization. Their overall mission is to supply rural government elementary schools throughout the Philippines, beginning on Mindanao, with modern educational equipment, food and clothing. They do this by dedicating profits generated through AEGIS, and from donations by private individuals, businesses and/or institutional entities.
Amanda describes her music as “Neo-Soul meets World.” A gifted pianist, guitarist and flautist, Amanda Abizaid was born in Beirut, Lebanon to an American mother and Lebanese father. Upon relocating to Los Angeles in the 1990s, Amanda immediately began working with some of the best musicians on the scene. She gained major notoriety when she lent her voice to “A Place in Time,” the haunting theme song from Paramount's TV series The 4400, which premiered in 2004. Amanda's 2010 CD release This Life garnered rave reviews from fans and music press from around the world. Brian Ball of Woman's Radio touted “This Life is the perfect half-hour escape from the boundaries of time and space altogether,” and Paul Fleck, former Executive Director of Marketing of Paramount Pictures Motion Picture Group praised, “This Life is unquestionably Amanda’s most accomplished work to date.” Tapping into her early musical influences from her childhood, Amanda infuses a sensual and seductive Middle East flair to her music.
The song “Walking In Twos” was inspired by Amanda Abizaid’s experiences with the Aeta Filipino children in Haduan Village when she was abroad in 2016. “I shook hands with every child and they told me their names,” Amanda recalls. “This is how the magic of this song began.” The village of Haduan is situated in the Southeastern foothills of the Pinatubo Volcano Range, across the Secovia Lahar River Basin. Visiting the village requires walking a few miles through rugged dirt paths, crossing a wide river, and a tropical wet dirt hike through the mountains. “When I arrived at their village,” says Amanda, “I entered their little stone classroom and soon began singing to my acoustic guitar instrumental of 'Walking In Twos' walking in between the tables and chairs. They smiled and their eyes lit up. In their indigenous language, they yelled out how much they loved the melody, clapping joyfully and asked what it meant. That's when I knew I was on to something special.”
Amanda made a strong impression on the children, and on her way home, a barefoot little girl named Lilibeth walked by her side. “Together we hiked down the mountain, crossing the unstable wooden roped bridge high over the river to the other side. We walked until we reached the paved road—the main entry of their village to civilization.” The children also made a strong impression on Amanda, and when it came time to record the song she had them sing in their native language on the chorus. “For the Aeta to agree to perform on my song 'Walking In Twos' is a first time event for them, and for the world to hear these children's voices.”
Amanda Abizaid wrote and produced the Walking In Twos EP, and sings and plays flute and piano as well. Stephen Stills is a legendary singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He plays guitar on the title track. “To have Stephen Stills performance on the project is an amazing honor,” says Amanda, “and together with the support of the Aeta children this project is a wonderful opportunity to share and help them through music.”
The new Walking In Twos EP features an electronica remix of Amanda’s original title track produced by Lindsay Gillis, a Los Angeles based musician and songwriter who has worked with Ron Fair, Dennis Dreith and Steve Deutsch. The Walking In Twos EP also includes five original songs: “One Love,” Amanda’s most recent acoustic reggae rock single, featuring bi-lingual lyrics; “Promises Of Love,” a trip hop World beat track featuring Egyptian oud player Ahmed Kamal (creative singer and composer) both co-produced with Raj Ramayya (Cowboy Bebop, Beautiful Losers, Pokemon, Strawberry Hill Music) and Théo Nogueira; “Set It Up,” a trip hop track featuring World flute melodies; “Lion’s Den,” an acoustic rock track with a touch of electronica; and “Release Me,” an ambient electronic bi-lingual track co-produced with Mixman Shawn.
Other featured musicians on this work are bassist Mike Mennell and acoustic guitarist Lindsay Gillis. Mike Mennell is a bassist and singer in Southern California who has been friends with and worked alongside Amanda for the past 16 years. Lindsay Gillis is a Los Angeles based musician/songwriter, survivor of numerous Southern California gigs and sessions, and collaborates with Amanda on the songwriting project “Someday Girl.”
Other contributions of note include MI (Musicians Institute) students performing drums under Stewart Jean, a drummer and educator based in Los Angeles, California, currently the Program Chair for Drums at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Also featured are local Buddhist children and the Aeta children from Village of Haduan, Philippines singing in their native language on the chorus, and Mark Stephen Weitz from '60s legends Strawberry Alarm Clock performing Wurlitzer on the track. Bill Dasheill was the engineer.
“The hard work and dedication of Amanda Abizaid shows all over this new track 'Walking In Twos'! Thank you for asking me to play on this new project. The addition of the Aeta Filipino children's voices recorded 'on site' really brought even more life to an already upbeat and spiritually uplifting song. You are truly a SAINT!” - Mark Stephen Weitz

Bay Area Rock Songstress Karney to Release Her New Singles Vol. 2: Restless Wind w/ Same Song This Fall
Upcoming Full-Length Album Renditions To Be Released Early 2017
San Francisco - Karney is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter that has been making great music for many years, performing across the US and collaborating with many talented and notable artists. Keeping her mind on social justice and positive messages, her lyrical content offers a sardonic and sometimes straight forward approach to many of the issues facing people today, with a message of hope resonating throughout every song she writes. Karney is digitally releasing a handful of new songs between August and the end of 2016 in support of her upcoming full-length album Renditions, due out in early 2017.

San Francisco Political Singer/Songwriter Pete Kronowitt Releases New Full-Length Album
A Lone Voice Delivers Timely and Salient Political Message
San Francisco, CA – The hunger Americans feel for change is palpable, and no artist voices this urgency better than San Francisco-based Pete Kronowitt, a seasoned singer/songwriter who is releasing his fourth full-length album, A Lone Voice. Pete’s emotive songs fuse acoustic pop and indie-folk, while evoking an era when music was made to battle injustice. A Lone Voice, releasing worldwide on July 15th, 2016, masterfully explores themes ranging from socio-political struggles to musings on the human condition. His sound is a Steve Earle-Elvis Costello hybrid, a heap of Alt-Americana influences.
The album was recorded and produced in Nashville, Tennessee by Grammy-winning songwriter Phil Madeira, with backing musicians David Mansfield on guitars, mandolin and violin, Dennis Holt on drums and percussion, Chris Donohue on bass, and of course, Phil Madeira on guitars and keys. A Lone Voice features a set of lyrical new songs spanning folk, pop, country, and acoustic-punk influences from the Ramones to Pete Seeger and John Mellencamp.
A Lone Voice stays upbeat, despite presenting some uncomfortable truths and lifting the curtain to reveal political and media manipulation. Audiences will join the chorus of the title track “Change Is Gonna Come” (inspired from Sam Cooke's iconic song) and tap to the beat of the album’s protest anthem “Got Guns?” Through his music, Kronowitt pokes fun at the absurdity of extremism and reminds us, the power of change is always here and now – within ourselves.
There are also intimate, personal moments in this collection, drawing connections between the national zeitgeist and the all-too-human emotional toll it takes on those we love. The smooth and Clapton-esque “You Are Here” reminds listeners (and Pete himself) to be present. “Holding Your Hand” is a gift for his wife after 20 years together, and the tender, album-closing “Perfect Day” is a moving tribute to his sister, who took her own life. “Tears on the Back of Her Head,” co-written with producer Phil Madeira, was written for two friends lost to cancer and their spouses, and may be the most stirring track on A Lone Voice.
Pete Kronowitt has toured internationally in China, Japan, and Vietnam, and across the U.S. in the last few years with long-time friend, collaborator, and 30-year veteran bassist John David Coppola. John, who has toured with The Danny Morris Band, was integral on Pete’s debut album Phases of the Heart. That album was recorded in 1993 at Rutabaga Studios with John Alagia, whose production credits include the Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, and Ben Folds Five. Kronowitt’s second and third albums, Threads and elements, were produced by Pete Snell, who toured extensively with Lyle Lovett.
With an unwavering belief that together, we can raise our voices to demand common sense solutions, Pete reminds us, “The people of these great United States are bound by the many things we have in common, and we must reject any manufactured issues which are cynically created simply to divide us.” With his revolutionary new album, A Lone Voice, Pete Kronowitt has called for a rediscovery of the protest song…and not a moment too soon.
Pete Kronowitt will be performing a CD Release party and delivering his strong political messages to the Agora Theater and Ballroom in Cleveland, OH ahead of the Republican National Convention this July 18-21, 2016.
There will also be various gigs throughout 2016 in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the West Coast.

Richard Marx In Concert At The Colonial Theater
Richard
Marx In Concert At The Colonial Theater
February
19th 2016
Pittsfield,
Mass.
Richard Marx came to town Friday night at the Colonial Theater on a not so typical February night in the Berkshires. It has been the strangest winter that I can remember, one weekend its 14 below zero then the next it is pushing 60 degrees.
The atmosphere at the Colonial was one of anticipation
before singer/songwriter Richard Marx hit the stage.
This artist holds a special meaning to me and my wife as
his music was making its way to the top of the charts when we met. For me it
was a bit of a history lesson as well. Marx has not only had a record number of
hits on the charts in a short period of time, he has collaborated with several
artists and wrote songs specifically for others that have charted. His debut
recording yielded four Top Five singles and he has sold over 30 million albums
worldwide.
This night was a man, his voice and guitar, and for a few
songs he sat behind the piano. The talent this individual commands was enough
and no backup was necessary. His voice is spot on, just as I remember it in the
late eighties. He is a true showman, interacting with the audience, telling
stories, throwing out quips to engage the audience with laughter, and inviting
shout outs. Another thing that I found refreshing was how Marx discarded the
house rules of no pictures and videos, encouraging folks to pull out their cell
phones, which everyone did simultaneously lighting up the venue.
I was impressed with not only Richard Marx the vocalist
but his ability to play the six string acoustic. If you are the only performing
artist on stage you had better be able to fill in the space on your vocals and
he did that admirably the entire evening. A plugged in acoustic has a great
sound and I really appreciate what he had to offer.
He let the audience know that he wanted to give them what
they came to hear, namely all the hits. Not only was that ground covered he cut
loose with a few others lesser known tracks like the hysterical country number
“How Can I Miss You (When You Won’t Go Away).” Marx told us of his love country
music and his partnership with country star Keith Urban and the song he wrote
for him then he went directly into the song “Long Hot Summer.” I recognized it
instantly. He also played the song he wrote with Luther Vandross “Dance With My
Father,” which was very touching particularly if you have lost a parent.
With “Angelia” he decided to go the unplugged route which
was different. I recognized the huge difference in a venue between being
amplified then suddenly not. I doubt people as far back in the balcony seats could
hear him. Nevertheless it was an interesting change. Marx just emanates
confidence and pleasure when he performs and that translates into the music
directly to his audience.
Some of my favorites were the night kicking off with
“Endless Summer Nights” and the way he closed out the night with “Right Here
Waiting” behind the ivory keys. Check out the original video provided here with
over 7.5 million views!
Richard Marx is a prolific artist with a long legacy of
great music and collaborations. I don’t see him slowing down anytime soon and
would highly recommend spending an evening with him if you get the chance.
I
dedicate this night and review to my lifelong partner and best friend, my wife.
Keith
