Track Feature: Katie Bogle - Think Of You (A Lot)

Katie Bogle's new track "Think of You (A Lot) is the kind of energetic and rhythmic pop you would hear blasting out of your radio on hot summer day.

The track has a great flow as Katie sings with a warm and infectious tone. And this a good thing considering she is singing about someone she really cares about. So yes it is sincere, but a lot of fun too.

Now that is the way it should be with a good catchy pop tune! So roll down the windows and crank up the volume!

Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck

About Katie: https://www.facebook.com/katie.bogle.37

Katie Bogle is a queer female artist based out of the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The singer/songwriter has dedicated her solo career to making original pop music with upbeat rhythms and simple melodies.

Heavy influences range from nostalgic 90’s acts like Third Eye Blind, blink-182, and Alanis Morissette to the pop infused, dance-rock stylings of The 1975 and Jack Antonoff. Bogle has channeled each of these artist’s styles to create her own edgy verses and catchy choruses while contemporizing the lyrics and song structure.

Donny Osmond has sold millions of records throughout his career, making the new “One Night Only” deluxe box set an instant collector's item as there will be only 1000 units pressed! The set includes:

- Limited Edition Triple DVD (Region 0, NTSC – this will play worldwide) - Double CD - Signed and Numbered certificate

Donald Clark “Donny” Osmond is an American singer, actor, radio personality, and former teen idol. Osmond has also been a talk and game show host, record producer and author. In the mid-1960s, he and four of his elder brothers gained fame as the Osmonds. Osmond went solo in the early 1970s, covering such hits as “Go Away Little Girl” and “Puppy Love.”

In 2017 Donny Osmond toured the UK playing sold out shows in Arenas in Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Birmingham and two nights at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo, London. The tour was very special to Donny, he has has described it as, “This tour was definitely my favourite that I've ever done”. As such it was decided to film and record the final date of the tour at the NEC Birmingham – One Night Only. From the filming and recording we have produced some very special editions.

“I have been touring, literally all my life, so it's quite a statement to say that this tour was definitely my favorite that I've ever done and I say that for many reasons.

“First is the fact that I took the opportunity not only to play the new songs I recorded for my 60th album, but I also went back into my repertoire of fifty-four years in show business and performed so many of my classics from so many different genres of music. The Purple Card segment of this show was kind of risky for me because I just didn't know what the audience was going to ask of me, but it was fantastic!

“Another reason I loved this tour was that the band, the dancers, the crew and everyone involved in not only putting this tour together, but executing it in such a fun and professional way, made it a magnificent experience.

“However, by far the greatest reason was you, my loyal fans. You've been with me for so many years. Even through those years when it really wasn’t cool to follow and listen to Donny Osmond. You've stayed with me through thick and thin and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“It's been a long and winding road as Paul McCartney once said, and I really don't see the end of my road coming anytime soon. I hope you enjoy this final show of the 2017 UK tour. Here's to the next one.”

Superstar Drummer & Songwriter CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA to Release New Summer Single "FUN, PARTY, SPLASH" Feat. CARLOS SANTANA & Produced by NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN

Marin County, CA – The past few months have been a blur for CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA, who is currently touring and performing with her husband Carlos Santana, is featured as a vocalist, drummer, and songwriter on “Power of Peace,” the new Santana/Isley Brothers collaboration, and has been busy touring with her own band and recording tracks in the studio with the legendary producer NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN. Together through Walden's Tarpan Records label they will release the new single “FUN, PARTY, SPLASH” featuring Carlos Santana on all digital platforms on August 25, 2017.

CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA is a virtuoso drummer whose artistry spans the realms of jazz and rock. As a bandleader and as a musician, Cindy is a sound innovator with a passion for pushing creative boundaries and exploring movement and change. She is as known for the nuances and colors she brings to her beats and fills as she is for the sheer power of her soulful playing. “Some drummers act, some react. Some keep time, others create it. CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA is among the few who can,” writes Mike Zwerin of the International Herald Tribune.

Among a handful of the most innovative, original and influential artists of our time, NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN'S stature as an authentic musical renaissance man is a matter of record. Producing hits for Artists as diverse as Aretha Franklin (including the platinum “Freeway of Love”), Steve WinwoodRay CharlesStingElton JohnWhitney HoustonGeorge MichaelMariah CareyBarbara StreisandLionel RitchieLisa FischerStevie WonderTom JonesGladys Knight, and The Temptations, the EMMY and multi-GRAMMY winner (Producer, Album and Song of The Year) has been at the helm of hit music that spans decades.

CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA has been creating magnificent musical time and space since the beginning of her career as a busking street performer in New York City in the '80s through the present day, touring the globe and making albums at the top of her game—including the critically acclaimed Another Lifetime (2010). In addition to collaborating onstage and in-studio with her own group—also known as Another Lifetime—she has toured and recorded with artists including Pharoah Sanders, Cassandra Wilson, Bill Laswell, Joss Stone, Joe Henderson, Al B. Sure, Buckethead, Don Pullen, Hugh Masakela, Buster Williams, and Angela Bofill. Cindy was part of the Tony Williams Lifetime Tribute Band called Spectrum Road with Jack Bruce, Vernon Reid, and John Medeski. From 1992 to 2007 and again in 2014 & 2015 she was the drummer in Lenny Kravitz's band, performing through multiple world tours and hit albums. In 2010, she was part of the all-star line-up performing “Bitches Brew,” a tribute to Miles Davis' seminal album staged at the San Francisco Jazz Festival and NYC Winter JazzFest.

More recently, Cindy has become the regular touring drummer for Santana. Having met several years earlier at a festival in Europe while she was touring with Kravitz, Cindy first played with Santana in spring 2010, when drummer Dennis Chambers had a previous commitment. “They have a great band vibe. It's nice to play with people who have grown together, built a sound together, and stayed together,” she says. “When that happens, you can create so many different levels of communication. That's what they've done, and I love reacting with it and being a part of it.”

Electricity onstage generated chemistry offstage—Carlos proposed to Cindy during a July 2010 concert, and they married in December. Looking ahead, they will collaborate artistically as well, on projects that will no doubt reflect their shared passion for improvisation, and belief in the transcendent nature of music. Cindy was an integral part of the new Santana/Isley Brothers release Power of Peace, featuring the song “I Remember,” which she wrote and sings. “To me,” she says, “music is completely spiritual, it's the way you connect with your higher self, with the universe. It's also a way to share light with millions of people. They don’t need to speak your language, have your beliefs, or be in the same place you are. The music speaks, it channels good energy, and makes a difference in people's lives. Carlos and I are both conscious of doing that.”

NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN started his storied career as a drummer with John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Narada's music flows freely from pop, rock and soul, to the rarified realms of jazz, fusion, and world music. With Jeff Beck, Narada wrote and played drums on the seminal album Wired that earned them both their first Gold Album. Walden was an integral part of introducing Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey to millions of fans worldwide, producing and writing their breakthrough hits. Billboard Magazine honored him as one of the Top Ten Producers of all time.

In 2016, Cindy connected with her fellow drummer and world-class producer NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN, and together the two have been working on new material ever since. CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA continues to build a body of work and artistic legacy that make her one of the finest drummers and recording artists of this or any generation.

Upcoming Girlband The Truebelles Release Mister Nobody

Britain’s Next Top Model’s Tallulah Bluebell revives modern feminist pop with all girl group The Truebelles. The Brit-school attendee joined Lorenna and Grace to form the power trio and share their passion for Women’s rights in latest single ‘Mister Nobody’.

Watch the music video for ‘Mister Nobody’ here:

The collective is made up of three entirely different, strong personalities that are all songwriters in their own right so The Truebelles choose to alternate lead vocals on each track. Although Tallulah is a successful model that made it into the last 12 of Britain’s Next Top Model, the trio strongly believe they must provide the right messages to young girls and it doesn’t matter if you’re not stereotypically ‘pretty’.
Tallulah’s wild personality isn’t just portrayed through The Truebelles’ music as she finds her urban exploration can’t always be controlled, leading to her breaking into derelict buildings to sketch and take photos. Her quirky character is also represented through her artwork, where she finds a muse and becomes obsessed until she has painted them.
Tallulah’s eccentric nature alongside Lorenna’s performing background and Grace’s musical history forms the most unique girl band of 2017. The trio have worked alongside major names, such as Lorenna doing additional voicing for Margot Robbie in the latest Tarzan film and Grace making music with Stevie Wonder’s bass player Nate Watts.

Ginny Vee Releases New Single 'Give Me Dynamite'

Italian born singer Ginny Vee releases dance pop anthem ‘Give Me Dynamite’ after being spotted by former LA producer Christian DeWaldenwho set her up with Vanni Giorgilli and Pete Chiesa at Mind The Floor. The infectious single has a Northern European house sound, with a feel good style featuring Vee’s raw clear vocals. The upbeat single was arranged by Steve Manovski (co producer and co writer of Sigala’s hit single ‘Give Me Your Love’). It was recently taken to the Amsterdam Dance Event where it was immediately snapped up by Disco:Wax (Sony).

Listen here to 'Give Me Dynamite'

It’s been a tough road for Ginny, with her family often suggesting she “get a secure job” any time she spoke of a career in music. Firstly Vee went law school but she soon left to follow her passion and joined a creative arts school. She then worked as a model and travelled to LA where she pursued an acting career, working on set with Michael Rooker. However Ginny’s passion was always singing and the cover group Belle Ma Belle was formed where she has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the Italian music industry. After a few years she made the break from the group and headed in her own direction.

1960's Irish Pop Singer Jackie Lee aka “Jacky” Releases New Compilation Feat. Hit Single “White Horses”

1960's Irish pop singer Jackie Lee aka “Jacky”, best known for her hit song “White Horses”, has released new compilation of the same name on Gonzo MultiMedia UK.

“I never dreamt in my wildest dreams that when I was asked by Ben Nisbett and Michael Carr if I would like to sing a little song they had written for hopefully a new TV series about White Horses that it would become so popular. I of course said I would be delighted to do so. I then went to Ben's office in Tin Pan Ally (Denmark Street, London) as it was known and heard the song and saw the lyrics for the first time. I must say I fell in love with it. We then set the key for the arranger and a week or so later I was in the rather small studio to put my voice to the arrangement that had already been recorded. It was then I decided to make something of this sweet little song. As there were about two tracks left, I used them to double track my voice and put in the harmonies which I knew would work well for the song. Lucky for all of us it was accepted for the TV series and voila, a little gem was born.

“I am quite astounded that my recording of the White Horses theme song is still remembered so fondly and played on the radio so regularly. So many people have written to me personally to recall all the happy memories they remember as children about the series and my recording. After so many enquiries I am delighted that this album has been released with the White Horses recording and tracks from my White Horses LP along with some other favourites of mine.

“It includes one track that has never been released before which was part of an album that I created with Christopher Gunning called Calendar which was very dear to my heart. The Busker was about April showers, the album was never released and to date and The Busker is the only track known to have survived.

“I have also chosen several recordings I made as part of the Raindrops,  a vocal quartet with my ex Husband Len Beadle, Vince Hill and Johnny Worth.  They all went on to make their own individual contributions to popular music.” - Jackie Lee

Tracks:
White Horses (Stereo)
I can Sing a Rainbow
Things I don't mean
Well, that's loving you
We're Off and Running
I think I like you
Scarlet Ribbons
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Out of sight, out of mind
Too Many Chiefs and not enough Indians
I Cry Alone
The Busker
Will You Love Me Tomorrow
There goes the lucky one
Here I go again
Down our Street
The Locomotion
The End of the World

Jackie Lee is an Irish popular music singer, who has recorded under various names. Lee was a musical child prodigy who became a vocalist with the top show bands playing prestigious Irish venues. From 1959 to 1964, Lee was a member of The Raindrops, a successful quartet who made countless appearances on British TV and variety shows, had a BBC Radio show and released a string of records, the majority of which had Lee as lead vocalist.

Lee went solo in 1965 and recorded albums until 1967. Lee was also a respected session singer, through her groups The Jackie Lee Singers and Tears of Joy. She provided the backing vocals for such worldwide hits as “Green Green Grass of Home” by Tom Jones and “Release Me” by Englebert Humperdink. She was also featured on such diverse recordings as “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix; and much of the James Last catalogue at the time. At one point Elton John was hired by Lee as a member of her session singers. In addition she also sang various songs for film soundtracks.

In 1968, going under the name “Jacky”, she had a UK Top Ten hit single with “White Horses”, the theme from a children's TV program. Her album of the same name was also released in 1968, which also featured Dudley Moore on piano. By 1970, “Jacky” reverted to “Jackie Lee” and had another hit record “Rupert”, from the TV show based on the famous cartoon character, Rupert Bear. “Jackie's Junior Choice”, was released on Pye Records in 1971, followed by “Rupert and Other Junior Favourites” in 1973. New Video Release - Ashely Iona - 'Thunder Come'

New video 'Thunder Come' by rising pop star Ashley Iona

Combining a compelling ear for storytelling and a mesmerising vocal tone, Ashley Iona comes through with a fresh sound comparable to the likes of Florence and the Machine, Sia and Chet Faker. Currently based in Los Angeles, she has previously lived in countries across the globe from Australia to the UK to Uganda and moved more than 20 times in her life.

“I wanted the video to be a journey – explains Ashley – I wrote the song when I was coming to terms with where my life was and I had this urge to be brutally honest with myself. It also coincided with 3 days of Thunderstorms in LA, which never happens.

Rain can be really cathartic, especially when you’re not used to it, so when I was thinking about the video I wanted it to be very tied up with nature to give the audience a similar feeling.
I saw some of Alex’s artwork at a friend’s house and got in touch with him to see if we could make something like an ‘otherworldly journey’…”

She adds: “We used light orbs rolling their way through spaces and put the viewer within the camera frame. We made the environments familiar but also completely fabricated and unique, because it’s landscape that’s meant to exist in your mind.

At the end of the journey the orbs return to the same structure that was once in a barren desert, because sometimes the biggest challenges we face are what inevitably make us richer people and force us to know ourselves from the inside out. I’d love to do a real life version of this video some time.”

Andrea Di Giovanni New Single ‘Hold Me Once More’ Plus New EP Soultrip

Listen to the track:

As the singer explains: ‘Hold Me Once More’ is the first song I ever wrote in English, 3 years ago. It talks about the relationship between me and my dad during my childhood and the lack of love and communication I perceived within it.
In the lyrics of this tune I am quite straight forward, telling him what I have been through, which I never had the courage to do in person.

The single follows Andrea’s previous emotive electro-pop single ‘I’ll Take Care of Myself’.

Both tracks will appear on the singer’s new EP Soultrip, which tackles an array of personal topics such as Andrea’s relationship with his father, exploring his bisexuality, as well as overcoming his experiences with vitiligo.

As the title explains’ states Andrea, ‘it’s a journey into the deepest corners of my soul, starting with the relationship with my dad, going into the very first time I fell in love with a guy, to my first experience in a gay relationship to the relationship with my ex best friend (actual girlfriend now). The progression of concepts for the EP is: absence, lust, apathy, awareness and resolution.

‘Hold Me Once More’ was released on June 15th

Soultrip EP was released on July 15th

Jae Franklin Releases 'Weary'

Soul songstress Jae Franklin is back with her new single release ‘Weary’ in which she paints a picture of our times inspired by recent global and social issues that have fuelled worldwide protests and demonstrations.

Described as a “talented chanteuse and citizen of the world [who] has a way with a musical phrase nearly unmatched by most of her peers” by the award-winning music website Soulbounce, Franklin is a multitalented singer who combines vocal savvy à la Whitney Houston with an activist heart.

As a follow-up to her captivating R’n’B song ‘Higher’, ‘Weary’ is a mystifyingly beautiful examination of the struggles that people go through in our day and age. Written and produced by Kwame Busia, the lyrics read: “Someone told you that you’ve got so much to give but you’re preoccupied with just trying to live.” Touching upon one of the most profound struggles that exist within human nature, ‘Weary’ is also an affirmation of hope which is so convincingly portrayed in Franklin’s vocal interpretation.
Listen here:

Jae’s artistic career goes a long way back to her Grade School days when she and her sister were in a band called Girls Tyme with former classmate Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland before the days of Destiny’s Child.  Born and raised in Houston, Texas, the singer eventually moved to Dubai where she has successfully honed her skills and managed to get noticed by the public eye with media coverage in the United Arab Emirates, the US and the UK.

Having always dreamed of broadening her artistic work and getting into the spheres of political activism, Jae would like to someday be able to become an ambassador for the UN Human Rights Council to raise awareness about refugee crises and social issues. She declares: “I would like to use my music as a platform for change and become a catalyst for change to heal the world and make a difference.”  Being an artist who values the opportunity to “give back” she has worked and performed for a variety of charities in the past. The social commentary in ‘Weary’ is yet another way for her to raise awareness and provoke thought in a world that is in desperate need for global solutions in terms of social justice.

Dark Pop Duo Corlyx Release Magetic EP ‘One Of Us’

Dark Pop sensation Corlyx are set to release their EP ‘One Of Us’. After kicking off their musical career with the enticing and compelling first single from the EP, ‘Starlet’, the duo is now ready to share a full set of songs that take on influences from electro, goth and industrial rock.

Having been inspired by artists ranging from Bjork to Portishead and The Progidy, Italian DJ and songwriter Brandon Ashley and former nurse Caitlin Stokes have formed their musical collaboration after falling in love in LA which led Caitlin to cash out her retirement fund so the two could move to Italy and start a new life of music, glamour and creativity.

One of their songs on the EP, ‘Narcissistic Girls’, captures their decision of leaving LA just like their first release ‘Starlet’ by drawing on the superficiality and vanity that often accompanies the insatiable strive for fame that many young girls in LA succumb to and also , as the band explains, the “narrative of narcissism in our social media driven society”.

After living the life of an authentic rock star whilst with his previous band Brandon Ashley & The Silver Bugs, Brandon is no stranger to the excess and madness that goes hand in hand with rising fame. He had already had a history of overindulging in recreational substances after grieving over the loss of his dad when he was 18.In Caitlin the musician and DJ has found someone to confide in since both band members have had a long story of traumatic experiences involving family dramas, illness and drug abuse while growing up.

Caitlin’s childhood and youth was particularly burdened since she used to suffer from severe deformities in her spine, an illness called Marfan Syndrome. As such she grew up feeling alienated due to her looks. When she underwent a life threatening surgery for her condition she found herself in a completely different body and the pain she had to endure made her depressions worse than before. Their next single release ‘Nobody’s Happy’ touches upon this exact experience. Corlyx explain: “The song and music video to it are about how childhood trauma inhibits our ability to be content in our adult lives, warping us emotionally and sexually. “ The video premiere for ‘Narcissistic Girls’ is set for 27th February 2016.

Having come a long way from personal and mental distress both Caitlin and Brandon have a natural distaste for the LA lifestyle that is mostly centred around fame and celebrity craze: “The EP puts a spotlight on our past in Hollywood Land and takes an overall stance against the artificial and the superficial.”

While Corlyx show distaste for artefacts with no substance and originality, they have created their own world of glamour and fashion in which authenticity and self respect precede the blind chase for plastic fame which often requires artists to lose their dignity. Instead, Corlyx combines a talent for dark and mysterious sonic elation with a sense of fashion, art and glamour that touches upon the realms of bizarreness and otherworldliness.

The EP ‘One Of Us’ and the second single release ‘Nobody’s Happy’ will be out 13thFebruary 2016.

Seitlos Debut Catchy Single Featuring Timotion

Seitlos is the brain child of producer/writer and multi instrumentalist Tim Milliken. The band consists of various musicians, dancers, performers and artists all bound together by a love for music. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee and London, Tim is crafting his own genre of dance orientated pop music for a worldwide audience. Counting high profile names like Boy George amongst his fanbase, Tim is ready to take the industry by storm.
As a band, the idea behind Tim’s project Seitlos was to formulate a completely new brand of music to bring it to the forefront, blending a variety of styles and genres to create something beautiful. Essentially Seitlos is about breaking the mould of pop and becoming the most unconventional, unorthodox, and exciting act possible.

The debut single from Seitlos is upbeat and exciting, uncompromising and surprising in equal measure. It is music that inspires you to do something different and picks you up on a gloomy day. A combination of both the new and the old, Seitlos are doing something different with conventional channels to music. They don’t care about accolades or praise they just want to make music that people can enjoy and invest in.

Music for Seitlos is not about high profile names or locations associated with pop stardom, music to them is about passion, creativity, love and strength all of which is condensed and put into the craft and performance of their songs.

Bassman New Single ‘Don’t Judge Me’ Is Out Now!

Legendary R&B artist Bassman is set to release ‘Don’t Judge Me’, his stellar follow up to hit ‘Jamaican Grind’. Although it carries on the dance tangent it is very much a personal ode.
Inspired by hardship and medical trauma Bassman felt the best way to convey his emotions was through the medium of music. After an allergic reaction to penicillin and the concept of death very much a reality Bassman decided it was time to write about his experiences. Music saved him and he is now intent on sharing his artistry with as many people as he can.
Inspired by the music and dancing of Michael Jackson but with a more modern urban sound, Bassman is already turning heads with major urban tastemakers such as The Source Magazine and Hip-Hop Weekly. And now, with new music garnering comparisons with Flo Rida, Pit Bull and Rick Ross, he’s set for his latest assault on the music industry.

Bassman filmed ‘Don’t Judge Me’ in Las Vegas and his ability to perfectly compliment music with visuals enables him to be a forerunner in the business. The video is a brilliant amalgamation of everything Bassman is and perfect representation of his life so far.

‘Don’t Judge Me (Fast Life)’ is  just the latest in a string of great, fun ideas from the artistic entrepreneur, who also works in other creative industries including clothing design, graphics design and jewellery. Music is just a part of the package, but a very impressive package it is.
